Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 3 "Hippocratic Oath" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Bashir and O'Brien are face with a powerful moral dilemma. When they taken prisoner by the Jem'hadar, but soon find they are attempting to defect from the Dominion and they're leader is apparently free of the drug katracel white and he wants Bashir to find a way to free the rest of the Jem'hadar in his group. Bashir starts to notice that the leader is more moral and free thinking than any Jem'hadar he's seen before and so comes invested in finding this cure. However O'Brien is more concerned about their safety as the leader set a deadline on which they're be killed if Bashir doesn't find a cure by then. O'Brien then attempts to escape and defies Bahir's orders and goes as far to destroy Bashir's research in order to rescue him. And I absolutely love this episode, thought it was an amazing conflict between two friends even if I thought O'Brien got off lightly. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis
