As we enter the month of May, haunts around the country are starting their hiring and

building seasons. There are also a few Halfway to Halloween events still going on so

look out for them. It could be your last chance to see your favorite haunt before the Fall.

In the meantime, we sent Badger to the East Coast Haunters Convention in

Philadelphia a couple weeks ago and he’s returned with a LOT of interviews and

coverage from their sophomore event. If you missed it, you’ll feel like you’re there. If you

On Friday the 13th of April, 2012, the Big Scary Show debuted its first episode and the world of Halloween, Haunted Houses, and Horror has never been the same. Who could have guessed that 13 years later the (g)hosts would still be cranking out the latest news, information, music, convention coverage, interviews, rants, and so much more?

We’ve traveled thousands of miles, attended many many conventions and tradeshows, visited some of the greatest haunted attractions in the country, and have had a blast doing it. Episode 337

Spring has sprung, and the Big Scary Show (g)hosts are excited. It’s time to clean out

those crypts, throw out those old body parts, and start making plans for warmer

weather. After all, it’s one more season closer to Fall. We start to wind down our

extensive coverage of Transworld by airing the remaining interviews Badger and the Old

Crone got in St Louis. There are interviews with even more vendors and attendees who

all agree that Transworld 2025 was one for the ages. Even though we’ve hardly

managed to rest up, we notice that there seems to be some sort of spooky rumblings to

the east, perhaps from southeastern Pennsylvania. Could that be…is it…oh my…the

East Coast Haunters Convention is less than a month away. There’s no time to unpack,

we need to get ready to hit the road to the City of Brotherly Love.
