Shawn Bolz is the false prophet. Elijah Stephens is the Christian who was misled and greatly harmed. Bethel is the church that I believe could have stopped it, and chose not to, endorsing the fake prophet and failing to deal properly with him and warn their people when evidence came out that he was lying in God's name. This video is made to help stir up positive change in the movement.

    3. Though it has been taken down from normal, wide publication, you can view Elijah's original documentary, "Send Proof," right HERE. This is the documentary Shawn Bolz prophesied about. Elijah asked me to share this with you for the sake of integrity, transparency, and accountability, but he doesn't want it viewed outside the context of this interview.

  • Exposing a bully pastor who used his pulpit to attack a victim: Teasi Cannon
    Jun 22 2025

Thank you to Teasi Cannon for being willing to come, at my invitation, and tell her story. We don't share this as a piece of entertainment but a way of calling Christians to something higher and bringing support to victims and accountability to leaders who abuse their authority.

    • This is the bully sermon (unless they delete it): Click Here
    • This is Teasi’s initial response to his threats and bullying from the pulpit. You can hear her heart of care: Click Here

  • Why does it feel like Satan won't leave me alone? 10 Qs with Mike Winger (Ep 53)
    Jun 6 2025

    Today's Time Stamps:

    1. 0:02 {Temptation Increasing vs. Satan Fleeing?} The Bible says when we resist the devil, he will flee (James 4:7). So why does it often feel like spiritual warfare INCREASES when we try to buckle down and resist sins of the flesh, addictions, etc.? When I resist, it doesn't feel like the devil flees - it feels like he tries even harder to get me to fall. Why is this?
    2. 12:17 {What is Blasphemy?} What is the biblical understanding of blasphemy? A Catholic online was complaining about how Protestants blaspheme Mary. How do we biblically define blasphemy, and what verses support this?
    3. 20:16 {Paul vs. Barnabas} What are your thoughts on the dispute between Paul and Barnabas over Mark in Acts 15:37-40? Were either of them at fault? What can we take from it?
    4. 30:41 {Seeing God in Creation} Despite Romans 1:20, I do not inherently see God in His creation. I choose to believe in God, but I feel like an ant lacking the capacity to contemplate my surroundings, let alone a creator.
    5. 42:26 {How to Share Concerns w/Leadership} Can you share some advice on how to approach church leadership with concerns regarding what appears to be false theology creeping into my church? Specifically: a lot of Hillsong/Elevation songs, TPT references, etc.
    6. 49:43 {When AI Grows Too Much} If AI (Artificial Intelligence} keeps developing to where society at large starts to call it sentient, would we as Christians have to stand in opposition to that?
    7. 52:20 {Resolving 2 Challenging Passages} 1 Chronicles 20:5 and 2 Samuel 21:19 seem to disagree with each other. How should we think biblically about these two passages?
    8. 57:50 {Protection from Legalism} How do you keep yourself from legalism? I’m breaking an addiction right now, and it feels like I’m doing it to be saved instead of because I am saved. It’s also been hard to rely on God lately.
    9. 1:03:45 {Is MMA OK for Christians?} Is participating in MMA wrong? I'm a new Christian and I'm conflicted and want to do right. I've just signed with a big promotion but now I don't know what would please God. Please Help!
    10. 1:10:25 {The Role of Physical Attraction} What role should perceived physical attractiveness play in choosing a partner?

Bonus Q! 1:15:27 How many funny shirts does Mike Winger own?

I'm taking questions from the live chat... here are the rules:

I do this live stream most Fridays at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. You're welcome to join.
To ask a question during an upcoming session, you'll need to follow these instructions:

    1. Don't post your question before you see me live on camera.
    2. Post questions as comments in the LIVE chat at the beginning of the stream.
    3. Post your question with "Q" at the beginning so we can easily identify that you are sending it in as a question for me and not just a comment in the chat.
    4. Try to be as clear as possible so I won't misunderstand the question. Keep in mind that I don't know anything about your question other than what you type in that short comment.
    5. Include specific verse references when possible or applicable.
    6. Only one question submitted per subscriber, per stream, please. Submitting the same question into the chat a few times is OK.
    7. Please understand that we don't strictly take the first 10 questions submitted. Our team takes several factors into consideration.

I dislike YouTube when listening to long podcasts or teachings because it drains my phone battery and I'm not paying to have YT keep running when I turn my screen off. Tried the BibleThinker app, which crashes randomly. Audible is my reliable go-to for listening throughout the day, with zero ad interruption, and I'm so happy to have found Mike's work here.

Been binging BibleThinker on YT for about six months now, have only found a handful of things I disagreed with, but I never disagree with the godly manner in which Mike presents himself and his information. When I run into those tough gotcha questions that trolls like to throw down, I have started consulting Mike to see if he has a perspective on the matter, especially if I hadn't heard of some issue before. Thanks for pointing us to other great apologists and podcasts as well.

May our Lord continue to bless your ministry, now more than ever, in Jesus name.

Glad to have found Mike on Audible

I started watching Pastor Mike on YouTube while studying the Bible. There are several others I also like, but Mike Winger is by far the best. His podcast and videos cover verse by verse sections of the Bible, and he has a weekly 20 questions where you can ask about specific issues or Scripture verses. He spends probably 75% of his free time studying and researching, from what I can tell. He knows more about the Catholic Church than any priest or Catholic I know.

Mike is also humble, doesn’t ask for money, and is very gracious when discussing other points of view. He’s easy to understand and likable. By far I’ve learned more from him than any other pastor or teacher. I highly recommend his content for anyone wanting to learn about scripture. He gets into the meat of content and is caring and knowledgeable, and he readily admits when he might be wrong or changes position from further research.
