And. so in Hab. 2:1, the prophet states that he will,"I will stand on my guard post And station myself on the rampart; like a soldier the prophet stood on his post and waited expectantly on a word for the Lord. Habakkuk approached waiting on a word from the Lord like doing a job. And like many of you who have prayed, who have asked God to give you a word, you have to wait patiently for it. You have to wait for it like it is your job. Take the waiting seriously and expectantly, because it is coming.
