This was a funny, sexy, and sweet love story.
It took you through all the range of feelings that you want to experience in a beautiful love story. The narration was done wonderfully and I enjoyed listening to both of them. I definitely recommend this book and these authors.

A fun, entertaining, and heartwarming journey to go on with Rebecca and Cade. I absolutely adored this story.
The narrators are new to me, and I was not disappointed. They were fantastic.

I don't really know what to say about this book. I have loved everyone of Ilsa Madden-Mills books that I've read so far but this one didn't quite do it for me. I didn't really dislike it and I didn't really like it. It was just okay. None of the characters really stood out to me as being anything worth remembering.

This was a hard book to review. I think I overall enjoyed plot-wise but I was at a loss at performance and characters.

There’s probably nothing wrong with the narration, I think they just weren’t right for this story.

It was set in TX and I’m not sure I felt them as Rebecca/Stone and Cade

I wasn’t a fan of Rebecca. I felt for her being someone who fought for her job and was resentful of the less experienced person/less deserving person get it, but she was obnoxious and skinny shaming. It used to be funny to skinny shame, something I’ve had to challenge myself being fat, but it came off as insecure, especially since she was doing it every other chapter.

Cade was better but his narrator was off.

It featured a former athlete turned sports caster, which was hard for everyone since he was less experienced, but he was also wealthy and owned half of Texas.

There were great things that were held back but the heroine and the narration. But great book.

I have listened to this book no less than 5x... Isla has never been more snarky or hilarious, I am totally here for it! couldn't have better matched narrators, they are PERFECTION!!!

whoohoo,it’s hot around here.Luckily I was listening and not reading or else my glasses would be fogged up.My ears fortunately felt the burn from the sexy steam that emanated from Kade and Rebecca.Narration was awesome with both a male and female being the narrators,it helps the imagination work through the scenes much easier and more pleasantly I might add.A must read,listen...what ever.Steamy and fun story.With a HE

Could not get enough this storyline! A magnificent blend of humor, panty melting sexy, maddening heart squeezing drama, love knowing no bounds and twist at every turn!
Gah!
The first time listening to each of the narrators, I loved them both! Made picturing the characters that much more comfortable!
Excellent story, awesome audible.
This is one I will be listening to again!
I would highly recommend!

SIDE NOTE: My husband always gives me a hard time for my " ridiculous reading choices " and " ear porn "
(I love the ear porn one haha) But my hubby happens to hear a snippet when he gets in the car of Patrick Garrett speaking. I went to turn it off since he is not all about my reading material-but my husband the stubborn beast that he says " well hell, there is no way I could compete with that guy, carry on!" * bowing in his seat *
That is a spectacular feat!

This is a laugh out loud enemies to lovers story. I instantly fell in love with Rebecca. She is a women having a string of bad luck and is stuck working with a hot as hell former NFL Quarterback. Her inner monologue had me laughing so hard. I probably looked like a crazy person laughing with myself while listening to this book in my car but I don’t care.

Now let’s talk about Cade. Pure alpha male hotness. A man with brains and brawn? Yes please and I’ll take two. He’s a stand-out book boyfriend.

While I loved these two, I LOVED Chas and Trent. They made this book for me. The humor and touching moments along with the heat kept this story going and gave it great pace.

Loved this read and this listen. I hope these two collaborate again because it was one giant treat.
