Desiree "Desi" Bishop is devastated when she finds evidence of her husband's affair. God knew she didn't get married only to one day have to stand before a judge and file for a divorce. Although God forgives him instantly when he repents, Desi's forgiveness is moving as a snail's pace.

After all the tears are shed and forgiveness received, the couple learns that some marriages are worth keeping.

This story sounded personal to me. I've been cheated on before and I never once forgave the person who hurt me. Granted, the person never asked for my forgiveness, but still.
From that day on, I decided that no matter how much I love a person, I'll never stay in a relationship where my partner cheated. I won't say that I changed my mind after listening to this story about redemption and forgiveness, but I do have a new perspective to look at.
Thank you Pat Simmons for this beautifully written story.
