This was a good solid storyline. Different storylines going at once and work their way together. Looking forward to the next book.

Although slow at times (like most talented authors), the plot was superb and a strong climactic ending. Highly recommend this audiobook!

Story is convoluted with too much detail about feelings. I will not be listening to this series anymore.

I received the narration version of this book. The narration was done very well. The author describes the characters and the scenes very nicely. about a third of the way in to the book I felt that it dragged slightly but then it picked back up again and I was very glad to have completed this book. Would definitely read another book by this author.

Matt Brolly did an excellent job telling this story! I will definitely read more by him! Highly recommend!

Always a fan of the police procedural, I’m glad I came across this series. DI Blackwell is cool under fire and there’s plenty of fire coming at her. The villain was a nutter and the shenanigans from Finch were unnerving. Let’s see how book two goes.
