The narrator of this book is absolutely terrible. You can tell she’s just reading and not stopping to create dramatic pauses between sentences. It sounds like this book is just one run-on sentence.

The narrator doesn’t know how to do a dramatic pause.

This was underwhelming for a novella. I think there could’ve been a little more plot development instead of jumping around.

It just escalated too quickly without enough moments connecting in between to tie the story together.

The narration was odd. It felt rushed and the audio quality had a tinniness to it that was off putting.

The author obviously didn't do any research or thought to her pregnant character. She had to have been entering her 2nd trimester when morning sickness hit, and she took a Xanax while pregnant.
