This book was well worth the credit I used to purchase it. Leah my god was a smart woman when it came to protecting her daughter. All it took was her shady ass ex husband to throw that glass at their head, for Leah to know what time it was. Kieran Murphy was the best thing to happen to her and little Emma along with Irma, and Liam from the bar.

This book had a lot of potential but no real effort for follow for follow through and we know it's not real but don't keep reminding us by having the MC call himself Daddy.

It was good, but just good. I think the use of the nicknames “little girl” and “daddy” were extremely overused and almost made it cringey.
The lack of “excitement” that happened during the main conflict was disappointing but overall not a terrible story.

I can't get over thist story this was a beautiful story loved it so much and it had just the right amount of spice

The voice actors did an amazing jobs with the accents and inflection. I gave the story a 3/5 because I wanted more story and details versus intimate scenes. Granted those were pretty well done. Had there been more content like the bonus scene at the end with all of the character development the book would have been a 5/5 for me!

Overall, the characters were likable, and I didn’t mind the dynamic—Daddy kink included. But the execution? Rough. The author seriously needs to expand her vocabulary. It felt like I was reading the same sentence on loop, to the point I had to double-check if my phone was glitching or if I was trapped in some spicy Groundhog Day. Repetitive phrasing and overdone pet names pulled me out of the story more than once. There’s potential here, but it needs polish.

Leah escapes her abusive husband with her three-year-old daughter Emma. She manages to get lost in Boston, getting paid under the table at her two jobs and eschewing banks and credit cards. Anything traceable Trevor might be able to use to find her. The redhead catches the eye of Kieran Murphy, head of the Irish mob in Boston and unashamedly proud of his criminal life. He didn't make her call him Daddy, but he sure liked it when she did. He took her when he wanted, as hard and as long as he wanted, and she reveled in his touch. She's his good little girl, even when she's naughty.

Basking in the glow of her lover's attention didn't bring Leah a life of ease though. She kept working her two jobs, one as a cleaner tending to Kieran's home. She didn't even get help with regular childcare, still leaving Emma alone at night. Some great mother she really was. Of course Trevor found her, as scum always rises to the surface, but it is curious how he found her. No matter. Kieran made sure he knew he was unwelcome, at least protecting Leah and Emma from further harassment by the man who should have loved them.

Overall the book was exactly what I expected - a dominant man wielding his hand and his body on the woman who caught his fancy, spanking her for her own good and making her love it. Hot passionate scenes between the MCs that could spark a wildfire. Listening to it took the story to a whole new level. I darn near melted everytime "Kieran" called Leah "little girl". Both narrators did a great job but d*** if Gabriel Spires' voice didn't make me wish Kieran was with me.

It was okay. I was just listening to it and I didnt get deep into the story. it was like when you have to read a book for a book report in school. You're reading it, but not retaining anything
