This was by far one of the best audio books. The narration was phenomenal. The storyline phenomenal. The spice phenomenal.

James Cassidy is what attracted to me to listen to this book. First time Ive listened to him perform and wow, he has an excellent voice.
The story itself was good. Nothing wowed me but it was interesting enough that I wanted to finish the book.

Loved the character arcs and development of both the FMC and MMC, separately and together. The reactions of the men when Emilia comes into her own, wielding strength, intelligence, and a hunting knife with equal capability (and a bit of glee), are hilarious! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Narration, Good Story, Surprising Humor

If you're new to Mafia Romance, this is a light start. I don't know if I would call it a dark romance, maybe a 'colorful' romance. There are only about 2 1/2 sex scenes in it, but pretty spicy and detailed. I liked them. Overall, I enjoyed it and it kept my listening. The beginning and ending could have been sped up a bit. It was far more heavier with emotion and grief than the good smexy stuff... I did have to speed up through the endless chapters of grief. Liked the HEA. Yes, worth a credit if you need an escape.

I loved this and the things that got me was all the emotions shown around the end. I started crying the last chapter " I told you to son" omg talk about losing it.

This book gave me every emotion I was irritated 😤, shook, suprised, excited 😊, spicy scenes were on point and it made me tear up. Emmy was 14 when the book started and even though Her father wanted a contract marriage with Niko who was twice her age(gross) he did not approach her until he felt she was an adult which made me feel so much better. I was hooked when Emma's 16th birthday Niko felt the need to protect her from a scumbag. He danced with her and kissed her on her forehead knew there was an attraction but did not act on it because he felt it was wrong because she was to young. Watching their growth over the years caught me heart. This is the best mafia romance I have read. I would recommend this to anyone especially if they like that emotionally detached broken man with some flicker of hope.
