A mysterious mutagen, an age of Supers, and a second chance at salvation!

Supers are spreading across the globe with no rhyme or reason. The governments declare war to keep the SuperVillains suppressed, but they don't stop there, fearing even those with good souls. Devon is a dentist with some quirks who saves a mother and her daughters, only to have the military betray him.

He awakes in the future, confined to Vault 12 with nineteen of his peers. The mysteries confound those around him, but Devon is not an ordinary Super. No, he's special and with Olivia—a lovely Super with a troubled past—at his side, they'll figure out their true purpose. When they do, humanity will never be the same.

I'm not really big on superheroes when the main character is a goody goody. It definitely makes for a better storyline it's worth the credit has a lot of really good action in it and a couple really spicy scenes give it a shot

Definitely enjoyed my time with the story. It sets itself up for a book 2, but if it doesn't occur then it still ends on a solid note.

The story primarily maintains a straightforward, quick pace approach. It doesn't drag out most of it's mysterys, dramas, or conflicts for too long; which is rather a refreshing change of pace to me considering episodic books will drag all that out for as long as they can. That isn't a bad quality nessarly, but like I said, it's nice to occasionally experience a faster more self contained storyline as well.

I do believe their was a contrived plot point or two, but it's a fantasy superhero scifi with optional erotica scenes. I can suspend my disbelief a bit for it.

Overall, it's a good story, with solid characters, development,enjoyable optional adult scenes, and solid narration work.

Not sure if this is book one of a series, but I sure hope it is. This book could be a stand alone but there is so much potential for more.
I was not expecting the story to go in the direction it did. I wasn't disappointed at all.
If there ever are Supers in the future, this is how I would expect our governments to handle the situation.

you will not be disappointed great narrators great story great book would be a good time filler while you wait for your next favorite to come out I look forward to the next in the series

worthy of a credit

IN the midst of superhero fatigue this one is a breath of fresh air.
Things are grey and not all is at it seems.

Usually I can kind of guess where these stories are going but this one was a small mystery for a good chunk of the book. The vault was interesting and the war between supers and humans was told well. Solid story and could become an amazing series.

Great job on world building and the rest of the story was amazing. The voice acting was great also but the book was a refreshing change to what I normally listen to but was so good. it was worth getting.

This book was surprisingly good and quite engaging as a story line. It builds to a crescendo that is both the way it should be and still unique enough to be interesting

this was a very different type of super book. it's hard to explain but the characters didn't have a specific power type that defined them, like he's the strong guy and she's the telepath etc. just because it was different doesn't mean it wasn't good. strong character development with lots of mystery unfolded. I'm not sure if there will be a second book but if there is I'll listen to it.

Original and engaging, stands apart from the oversaturated super hero genre. Not afraid to lean into influences when necessary, but also has an original voice and plot.
