I absolutely loved this story when I first read it, and being able to hear it made it even better! Oliver did such an amazing job narrating Nathan and Chase’s story!!

Nathan is sent to help his uncle over the summer, and reunites with his first love, Chase. Chase is mad that Nathan never came back like he had promised, and never called to explain why. Now, years later, the two are reunited, but years and loss have come between them. Chase doesn’t want to let Nathan back in, and Nathan doesn’t want to let Chase go.

This was so so good, and I cannot wait for the rest of this series to be made into audiobooks!!

Joelle has this writing style that always brings a smile on my face, and goosebumps break out on my skin.

Her stories are sweet, oh, so sweet, but also hot. This combination never ceases to amaze me. Not a lot of authors can pull this off, so... Bravo.

Summer of You is the story of Nathan and Chase, two long lost lovers who got back into each other's lives when the time was right for them. It's a second chance romance, and tbh I am happy they got it.

I started this series with book 4, and I have to admit that Nathan is not my fav character. There is something he does that bothers me a little, or a lot, depends, and reading his book didn't make me lose that feeling. I won't get into details because it is a spoiler from future books, and like a normal person, you probably started with this one. It is nothing bad. Don't get me wrong, it's just something that rubbed me the wrong way, and it has NOTHING to do with Chase.

Chase is Nathan's heart and soul, and he loves him more than anything in this world. The same goes for our sweet Chase.

Their dynamic is interesting, and I loved reading their story. I loved learning how way back they go and how they found their way back to each other. I loved reading about them reconnecting and moving on from old wounds. They deserve to be happy, both of them, but I'm happier for Chase because my sweet boy really deserves all the love in the world.

This is a series I would recommend to anyone who wants to read sweet and super hot stories. Anyone who wants to read about an awesome group of friends, cute characters, and love stories that make your heart beat a bit faster.

The audiobook is awesome, and I am happy I got to listen to it. It only made the story that much more fun.

This is my second time reading this story, first with my eyes and now with my ears🤭. Joelle’s books are always much a fast fun read! Just the right amount of spice, plot, and heart. The narration was on point and I think made the story even better to hear Oliver’s voice take on the characters.

I knew from the moment that these two reconnected when they saw each other after years that this book was going to be epic and holy hell, Oliver Williams definitely did so amazing in the audiobook.

I felt for both characters, especially Chase. I loved that he had a cat, who immediately warmed up to Nathan, who normally doesn’t like people. I felt so bad for Chase because he lost his parents.

Nathan’s uncle is so hardheaded but I loved him so much. And I’m not going to give any spoilers but I loved Gabi too.

The only thing I didn’t like was how hard Nathan’s mother was on him. I definitely understood but give the kid a break. I love how the fun starts with the two but they just can’t get enough of one another.

Can I just say the dirty talk was out of this world? Out of all the books I’ve read by her, the dirty talk was just so good. The spicy scenes were so steamy I just had to fan myself.

I loved the ending for these two because it was so worth it. Second chance romances are my favorite to see how they will reconnect with one another.

This was a sweet story. Nathan and Chase were both very in love but Nathan’s hesitation to fulfill his promise almost broke Chase. For him to face the most painful moment of his life without Nathan was as truly heartbreaking. I’m glad their journey back together healed them both. It was clear they belonged together and found a way to make it happen despite the bumps on the road.

I loved this story. it is super sweet and I adore these two guys. My heart broke for Chase and his loss but these two are able to overcome so much. Adding to the amazing story the narration is absolutely beautifully done.

Nathan and Chase’s story with a fabulous lesson. You got a lot from their background and how close they were to how close they get by the end of the story. Highly recommend reading such a great start to the series.
