Acerca de esta escucha

Every one of us struggles with faulty ways of thinking that lead to our emotional health damage and damage our relationships with others, along with our spiritual growth and development. One of the most toxic and destructive ways we view reality is to think in terms of how things should be or shouldn’t be, something that keeps us from accepting the difficult things that come our way and coping with them properly. This book is an emotional health book that examines 20 of the most toxic “shoulds” we suffer from and how to overcome them so that our lives can flourish and also help us in finding joy in life.

I like puns and was intrigued by the book’s title. Unlike the author, I don’t think I’m shoulding or shouldn’ting myself or others too often. So, I was listening for other things but the title’s message. And these were plenty: Christopher P. Brown’s timbre, his clear enunciation, and his lively phrasing make listening to a book of any contents a pleasure. I found myself listening to more chapters in one go, then I would have read without taking a break.
If you are saying to yourself I should have done so many things differently and beat yourself up over it, the book is for you. If you say to yourself I should really listen to a well read audiobook again, this book is for you.

Very listenable
