Love Glimmer Lake. Book 2 gets an A+

Love Val and Sully. Val is adjusting well to her powers, Josh is Josh, but looks like he may really be growing up a bit.

Enjoy this series more than any other 40+ books that are coming out quite a bit this year. Lots of magic, friendships, family times, some romance and a mystery to solve.

Ava Lucas does a fine job with her narrations, easy to recognize who’s speaking.

Can’t wait for Monica’s book. Hope that West is in her book.

An amusing, well written psychic semi-cozy

This is actually a well written novel ... half romance with an HEA, half mystery with an HEA, and an interesting psychic component featuring three best friends who almost died together in a car accident, and each developed different psychic gifts from the near death experience. Great character building, good world building, easy to mentally visualize, good depth of friendships. Excellent main character female role model for a 44 year old transitioning from pop rock fan, to mother, to business owner, to person with moderate low key psychic gifts still trying to be a thoughtful, positive influence mother and business owner affectionately caring for her employees. The mystery part was also well written, and while somewhat transparent, what I appreciated most was that it was not nauseatingly anxiety producing ... this is not quite a cozy, and definitely not a bloody battle, this is somewhere in between, in a good comfort zone. I'll be buying the next in the series.

I am a psychic and can relate to the experiences the ladies have altho Val's are a bit extreme sometimes
enjoyable and love the mystery

Another great book!

Definitely read the first book in the series before this one— not because you can’t follow this one if you don’t but because the first one is as enjoyable as this one and there are spoilers to book one here. This second installment focuses on Val and Monica and Robin only play minor roles, but the story is solid and entertaining. Once again, nicely narrated on the audio. Looking forward to reading/listening to Monica’s story next. Well worth the Audible credit.

More love for Elizabeth Hunter

Val is my favorite character out of the trio. And I love her perception of Monica and Robin. I am listening to the last book and I think this one may be my favorite out of them all just because of how much I love Val!

Its not a light hearted book; but I don't think any of them are. The content gets heavy but the humor and spurts of lightness are still there. Again, as I reviewed on the previous book, there is balance.

Narrator does a great job as usual. I really enjoy her performances. The book is captivating and an adventure. Its realistic and fun. The characters are fun, loveable, and understandable. Another great book!

Great Psychic Story

This is what I call an easy psychic story. There's no guts and terrible violence. It's just a good mystery psychic story.

The three best friends use their recently acquired superpowers to fight evil that is trying to destroy their not completely perfect lives, and save the people they love and the some, not so much.
The performer is not the best on Male voices .

Even the cool mom has problems, or so I hear!

This is the second book in the Glimmer Lake trilogy and I would not recommend it as a stand-alone, but otherwise, I really would recommend it! It is the story of Valerie Costa, single mom to two teenagers, living her life in Glimmer Lake, getting by as best as she can, until she has a car accident with her two best friends and emerges with the psychic ability to "read" objects by touching them. Now, she suddenly is wearing gloves all the time, because, do you really want to know that the creepy guy from your coffee shop is cheating on his wife or exactly what your teenage sons have been doing in their rooms? Yikes! And, there's the slight problem of her deadbeat ex going missing... And her flirtation with the hunky sheriff. Yes, this is a great follow-up to the first book in the series with a combo of clean romance, paranormal, and mystery, with over-forty protagonists! Loved it and am excited for the third in the series.

Great book, great narration!!

I enjoyed the 1st Glimmer Lake book so much & was afraid this 2nd one would disappoint. Definitely not!! This was just as good with entirely different storyline. Highly recommend! And Ava Lucas' narration rocks! Her intonation, emotions & speech are perfect for audiobooks!

Very enjoyable

I liked all the main characters, they all cared for one another. The main bad guy was definitely some one you enjoyed seeing go down. I also liked Vals romantic interest Scully.
