Michael Heiser was a damn interesting Biblical scholar with some crucial insights. i'm sad that it's now "was" instead of "is"......... i have no idea why this narrator affects this bizarre, snotty tone throughout. it's *really* off-putting.

I learned a lot from this book, lots of information and the supporting sources. If you are a Christian and interested in the Biblical book of Genesis, then this help fill in some of the details lost on the modern western mind.

I can tell the author did a lot of research in this book. It is amazing because of that but it was hard to listen to because the narrator was terrible..

Heiser here lays out a compelling case for the finished work of Jesus Christ to redeem mankind from not only sin but the evil influences of the Watchers angelic beings of Genesis 6!

i really love this book brings everything together from the Bible to the other books that where found in the caves near Israel in 1949

The book information is interesting and well organized. But the playback volume was all over the place sometime very quiet and other times louder and that was in the same chapter.

Dr. Heiser is an awesome teacher. His many thorough works are invaluable resources, for anyone willing to listen and to learn. I never ever thought I would enjoy any type of theology. Knowing how dry and "clinical" it can be. I never learned any of these things and always wondered why? This book is filled with a ton of interesting things that make you think and process what we as Christians have always been taught.
I will say the narrator on this one is rough to listen to. I would rather listen to the over-enunciating guy from the other books and he isnt great either unfortunately.
More people would listen if they would use a decent narrator.

The reading was good. The volume and pitch of the recording changed throughout, sometimes with the chapter breaks and sometimes randomly. Occasionally lines of the text would repeat.

An evangelical biblical theology of Enochic literature is really unique, and this book (along with his Supernatural) has really helped me see thematic lines that truly seem to run throughout Scripture.

This may simply come down to my taste, but parts of the book were really interesting (particularly the first few chapters) and other parts seemed overly long. Particularly the examination of epistles for connections seemed to survey the interpretive options with too much detail. But others may appreciate this detail.
