By far, the leading interpretation of todays Church regarding the age of this planet, Earth, takes us back to approximately 4004 BC: the year believed to be Adams creation. However, just as Galileo challenged the Church to accept that Earth circles the sun (not the other way around), it is far beyond time for traditional interpretations regarding our planets earliest ages (and what occurred between God and Lucifer during those eras) to be updated in light of what we know today. Once this is done, the evidence overwhelmingly stacks in favor of a harmony between science and theology.
Dr. Thomas Horn and his research assistant, Donna Howell, have waded through thousands of scholarly works to present an astounding study like none other in this field that brings a fresh perspective to contemporary sciences, the age-old question of what Gods first enemy did to Earth in the days it was without form, and void (Genesis 1:2), and what may have really happened in the days of Adam.
In Before Genesis, you will learn: the basics of the debate raging between the Old Earth and Young Earth Creationist groups and the answers to these issues straight from the Word of God; how ancient archeological sites (such as Gobekli Tepe, Puerta de Hayu Marca, Tiahuanaco, Baalbek, and Catalhoyuk) point to an intelligent race of beings (fallen angels...and something else?) on Earth alive before the time of Adam and under Lucifers fallen influence; what Earth was like during the without form, and void era of Genesis 1:2; Lucifers biblically recognized role as Earths serpentine king; what the biblical prophets said about this fallen cherub that covereth; who the perpetrator in Eden really was; the origin of the great lizards weve come to know as dinosaurs; and, finally, for the first time, the conclusion to the events of Genesis that shockingly merges all contributing voices (Young and Old Creationist groups, as well as science) into one balanced and agreeable climax.

However, there is one aspect of the audiobook that significantly detracts from the overall experience – the narration. The narrator repeatedly uses the phrases “quote”, followed by a bit of information, and then “end quote”. While it is understandable that the author wants the listener to be aware of the quoted material, the excessive use of these phrases severely disrupts the flow of the narrative. The constant interruptions make it difficult to maintain a coherent line of thought and can be quite jarring for the listener.
There are so, so, so many quotes throughout the book, and each time the narrator interjects with “quote” and “end quote”, it breaks the immersion and rhythm of the story. This repetitive pattern becomes increasingly frustrating as the audiobook progresses, overshadowing the otherwise excellent content.
In summary, while "Before Genesis" is a highly recommended book for its exceptional content, the narration style could benefit from a more seamless integration of quoted material. Reducing the frequency of the “quote” and “end quote” interruptions would greatly enhance the listening experience, allowing the audience to fully appreciate the depth and quality of the author’s work.
An Excellent Book with a Minor Flaw

However, the proposition of “angels” intermingling with “women” doesn’t hold together in my mind in view of numerous scriptures—even from the Lord Himself that said “you do err not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God…for they neither marry nor are given in marriage….as angels in heaven”
The entire story will still hold together without the idea of angels having an intercourse with women in those days—rather by the law of hybridization right from the garden, the scriptures being cryptic and symbolic. The serpent wouldn’t have a seed if there isn’t truly one to call a “seed” and the woman wouldn’t have a seed if there wouldn’t be one to call “the seed” of the woman.
Thanks so much for writing this as it provides evidences for a lot of questions in my mind.
Solid storytelling, narration and compelling evidences
