Sometimes I found myself saying “enough already” during long drawn out sex scenes where he would repeat himself over and over again about “destroying worlds” for her and that “she’s mine” for eternity, so drawn out that it was neither fun or sexy. But when you get beyond that to the substance of the book you find a twisting story that’s intricate and surprising. The performances I also enjoyed and feel they did well.

Honestly it took forever to get to the pain point. But the audio is on point and I don’t regret getting and it had such a perfect ending. Now I just wish Spider would find happiness too.

Plot twist, mystery, romance, and some questions answered.
The series had been bad ass. This last book seemed a little lacking compared to the others. But still good. I wanna say a little rushed. Or just not as much put into as the others. As the final book and with the others so great. You had high expectations. But again book was still worth it.

I was not a fan on how the main lovers acted at times. Last book he was like I will do anything to make you happy again then he turned back into a major jerk. At the end of book. Explained a lot of the actions taken and why things happened. That pleased me a lot.
I felt like I missed a part. They explained what Lucien is kind of.., or at least he’s roll. They named other stuff also. So I was a little confused. That might be my bad. I did zone out on some sex parts and not in the fun part but because I was tired of hearing the voice changes of spider.
Reader Eva changed the voice of some male characters in last book. Which in this book she had more parts to read for them. The sex parts were frustrating to listen to. Did not sound sexy.

But all together book is good. I’m happy how it ended and made you all warm and fuzzy
I look forward to more from this author.

Amelia kills it every single time! She is a one click author for me! I’ve read every single book she’s written and enjoyed them all! The narrators killed it again! They are the best!

After book 3, I was skeptical about continuing the story. Yes, there's a lot of dirty yet rude sex talk. It's to be expected, considering the series to date. Actually, I listened to the last 15 chapters twice because the story had such excellent closure. My partner and I now use the phrase "I'm gonna wreck your pussy," in our daily life (because of the review someone left). Steer away from letting the phrase be degrading. That's simply Lucian's personality. It's a good read. If you've come this far, definitely finish the series.
