Loved this book. While I hate to see this series end, this book is the lovely end to a lovely series.

I’ve listened to every book in this series (a first for me) and every book was good! A lovely ending, but I’d happily go for more books in this series - with Alex Wyndham narrating of course!

I truly enjoyed this story. The narrator is one of my favorites and he is as wonderful as I knew he would be.
I wish the plot was a bit more complicated. While I found myself committed to each character, it is as if the author needs to check each box as she goes along. She is a consistent talent but with her next book I wish she would trust herself and her research into the period and compose a new story within the same world that is a bit less … tame.
