I absolutely love this series! This is probably my favorite of the series. I adore Iggy. He is so adorable, and I have loved seeing him pop into the stories. The world Mack has created is amazing. It's fun. It's sexy. It's entertaining. There is a strong storyline. Definitely read in order. The narrators did a great job!

iggy miriam and alo absolutely stole my heart!! alo is hands down one of the best single dads ive ever read & the way miriam loves iggy and checks on & includes him fills my heart. the sheet amount of mutual pining miriam and alo endured before their HEA was insane, but it stroked their slow burn to a scorcher!!! alo’s words were filthy- and miriam matched his fervor at every opportunity! i adored the closing of this chapter of this world but im so excited for the next coupling!

mason llyod and mia barron’s narration were a hit with this one! i felt they really matched each characters voice perfectly. mason’s irish accent had me swooning

A great romance in the hidden monster realm, what could be better!! Hazel Mack is a great storyteller with a great imagination! Worth the read!!

This series is absolutely incredible, it has captured my heart and I never wanted it to end. I was so invested in the story and the characters, especially Igge who stole the show for me. The narration was flawless, both voices perfectly embodying the characters.

But oh, how I wished for more details about Miriam's Halloween party, I could feel the effort and love she put into it. It would have been so wonderful to delve deeper into that part of the story, to really immerse myself in the festivities.

And what about the prison for the portal? That part left me a bit confused, I longed to understand how it was made. Despite that, the flow of the storie was seamless, the characters were rich and vibrant. I am a devoted fan of this author, their storytelling is truly captivating.

The story is still going strong! Love getting Alo’s story! Narrators are great and spice is medium. Definitely recommend but make sure you start with book 1!

Love these Haven ever after series, think Gilmore Girls/Halloween Town meets smut. Hazel Mack did a great job on this series.

Cozy monster romance

I was hoping to find a new paranormal series to love, but this isn't it. It has its cute moments, some world building, nice variety of paranormals, but then we get to the first sex scene and it's just stupid. All the sex scenes are stupid. Everyone has different likes and dislikes, some people are more vanilla, some people are more into kink, some couples like specific roles like D/s, and it's all fine and whatever you're into, great, have fun, but no one would would just go full in on whichever role without even discussing it with their sweet crush first. It's not believable, doesn't fit the vibe of the town or the rest of the book, and is a poor way of trying to portray, I'm not sure what, "alpha" like behavior? Dominance? I don't know. It would have been laughable if it didn't unfortunately veer more towards the ridiculous. This would have been so much better if the sex scenes were removed altogether.

but that's not saying much and feels like too little too late after the absolutely pathetic book 2.
If the author had skipped all the extremely unnecessary sex scenes there was definitely far more scope for plot and character development here.
This series is such a waste of a good idea - I enjoy the world building and character dynamics.
I bought the first 4 books on sale and have skipped my way thru the first 3 but I think I need a break now. I'm so over all the sex and lack of action
