I'm so glad that I bought this because Bernie's voice is calming, and soothing.
He's a great story teller and deeply cares about helping people heal and recover.

You can listen to samples of most of these recordings under Audible Before you buy because we are ALL have different prefaces, tastes. I will be buying more of these wonderful recordings by Bernie and others who are helping me get well which also incorporates having a Positive outlook which is essential since it's easier to blame and become scared and negative which actually makes people sick or sicker and we ALL have the power to heal ourselves if we are open and have a willingness to change and shift our mindset. And this is what I wish I knew before because Western medicine Only made me sicker including many medical mistakes made and I AVOID most of these people now especially when these people Refused to educate themselves about what Dr. Siegel and many others do because it's working and I have a long way to go and I can't afford any more mistakes due to ignorance, indifference which also impacted my mental health.
Be your own advocate and Don't be blindly led but with that said you have to eat nutritionally, exercise and have a good mindset to overcome anything.

This is one of the best self-help books that I have ever read or listened to. I have read several of Bernie Siegels' books. Mr. Siegel comes across as being so warm and caring and makes you feel as though he is really speaking to you as an individual.

A couple of reviewers commented that his voice is not very relaxing and I agree that his voice is not very smooth. But the meaning in his words more than make up for the quality of his voice. To me his voice is very comforting.

Whenever I listen to this tape I feel so relaxed and comforted and relieved of any negative feeling I may have had. I can almost promise you that if you listen to this tape you will be so glad that you have purchased it. Best wishes.

This selection is healing to the body, soul, and spirit. The title was purchased some years back and not used regularly. If only I began the journey years ago. Gladly, it’s never too late. Healing personified.

The same few phrases of music are repeated over and over and over and over, the whole time he's talking. I thought it would stop, but after a few minutes I gave up.

Loud, annoying music makes voice hard to follow

The entire narration is accompanied by lugubrious piano music. What's worse, this was originally a tape recording, and they didn't bother to clean it up before making the digital copy. What you're left with sounds like an old, worn tape; the music occasionally stretches, and goes off key, AND it's almost as loud as the voice it's supposed to accompany.

Painfully bad!

Although Mr. Segal's ideas are brilliant he hasn't got a soothing voice! He should get someone else to read these!
