Allowing yourself to feel all of your emotions and finally arrive at forgiveness after a loss is definitely key. This detailed guide about the process with a focus on how men and women have different tendencies makes a lot of sense. Being a woman I am surprised at how men tend to handle pain from their past, but John does a good job of explaining that for a man the goal is to return to independence and inner power, which leads to a man’s sense of inner peace. This goal really shines light on why men do what they do. For a woman I feel our goal is to return to a sense of belonging and value which leads to our inner peace. It’s very insightful to learn about differences between men and women, in order to understand and respect each other we need to know and talk about those differences.

this book has amazing information that rings true for me and will probably do the same for you. the audible version is a little confusing as there are multiple chapter 1's etc... just think there are 3 parts
