As other reviews said, it’s not as good as the 1st book. I wouldn’t say it went too dark, it went too serious. Very little humor in this book. I’ll wait for the next one to decide if I’m sticking with the series or not.

This was amazing, just like the first one Vincent is my favorite vampire and all the character development this book showed my why this is one of my favorite verses

The beginning and end was very good, however it did get a bit boring in the middle of the book.

Another great story and performance. Much more character development, better twists and descriptions. This one is going to hit you in the feels.

Deeper than book one

This was an excellent book when in comes to lit RPG. It’s an excellent book when add my man Travis is narrating. Even more excellent when you find a small clue that you can take with you in life. Of course Vincent does those things that us parents do for our children but the small things like cooking all your little girls favorite foods or the constant back and forth with your son. But the fact that Vincent go through great lengths to gain knowledge so he could still father his kids is the biggest thing for me. You can love your children, you can do all you can for your children but to teach your children is the true gift or curse you give to your children.
