This outwardly simple case is something neither Alex nor Martin ever imagined. It will take all of Alex's training and instincts to track down the criminal mastermind and stop the assassination plot before it's too late, and even that may not be enough.

The wrap up was too simplistic and too convenient. And too short for me;too many unanswered questions

The characters came alive for me . I couldn’t read it fast enough

I don't know about everyone else, but I have to have audible to do the things (housework, grocery shopping, etc.). The narrators can make or break my level of escapism. Amy Deuchler is perfect for this series. Just enough snark without disrupting the flow of the story. There's enough of a difference between characters that makes it cool. I can't wait for the whole series!

This is a good read. Decent plot, characters and performance. Definitely engaging. I'd read Book 2!

Enjoyed this book very much. Good narrator which can make or break a book. Good story but not graphic. First time hearing this author/narrator. Look forward to the next one.

Narration and predictability I skipped from chapter 22 to the last (2) chapters because it list my attention. I don’t think I missed a thing

I've read all 23 books in this series and bought the audio book and listened to it on the release date. Please continue releasing the entire series in audio.
