I like the main character . She is good but not perfect. The romance is interesting and not too graphic. I love the chapters from the dog's viewpoint.

I'm listening to this whole series because I really like dogs and the jobs they do. It's sad that Bridgett is portrayed as a Diva, but she is funny and does some cool things. I much prefer strong women characters and Megan does not fill this role. I keep hoping as the series goes on, maybe she'll get better. Overall, the series is humorous, the story lines are goofy and the characters remind me of Police Academy.

The author was brave to create a strong female character who was not totally white in a book series set in Texas.

I read for relaxation. Listening to the boy’s situation was not relaxing. I’m sure he was saved in the end but I couldn’t stand it long enough to get there so I gave up. The premise of the K9 and his handler is cute so I wish I could keep listening but I read to escape the horrors of the world I don’t need them creeping into my causal reading. It was the same with the last book. I might try one more book because I like everything else.

Another good story but one clarification should be made. Houses are not robbed they are burglarized. People are robbed if they are beaten, held at gunpoint or otherwise endangered. It's a common mistake but one that writers need to be aware of. Love Bridgett and Officer Megan

Not Diane Kelly.

What was most disappointing about Diane Kelly’s story?

So many ridiculous details - such as a police officer throwing up at the sight of blood. Really? A valued drug dog being fed junk food. It goes on and on.

Would you be willing to try another one of Coleen Marlo’s performances?

Yes. Nice voice. Needs a different author.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No.
