Acerca de esta escucha

Any way you look at it, for whoever is using it, marijuana is a medicinal plant in abundant supply. Every month and every year that goes by, we find out more positive things about it. Marijuana has been demonized through the years, but obviously this plant has a great deal of positive attributes, and it's a renewable resource.

Being a cash crop, marijuana is bad for the pharmaceutical industry. Is Big Pharma pressuring the government to continue to deny sick people access? If so, that's truly a crime against American citizens. And, as Jesse Ventura writes, "Our government won't do the right thing and legalize marijuana unless we the people demand it, because there are so many people within our government on the payroll, all thanks to the War on Drugs."

Jesse Ventura's Marijuana Manifesto calls for an end to the War on Drugs. Just because something is illegal, that doesn't mean it goes away; it just means that criminals run it. Legalizing marijuana will serve to rejuvenate our pathetic economy and just might make people a little happier. Ventura's book will show us all how we can take our country back.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"Jesse Ventura has been a solid proponent of legal cannabis for decades. In Jesse Ventura's Marijuana Manifesto, he lays out the good sense of legalization, as well as the sheer insanity of prohibition. As a proud American, he pulls no punches calling out the political elite." (Dan Skye, High Times editor in chief)

why he was elected governor. He has great communication skills, and lays out a compelling case for why prohibition does great harm to society

this is a great book about the history of marijuana in the USA. Very in depth information about why marijuana is not legal and who made it that way, and who is keeping that way.

This books explores not only the history of marijuana and hemp as a plant and drug but it dives into the political history and explores all of the corruption toes to it from the prison system to textiles and farming.

More than just a book on drugs.

This was an in depth story of how the Government isn’t listening to we the people and actually are denying medicine to us. Pretty sad.

Very good information

Honestly, came into this fairly non informed about the subject matter which is why I decided to pick this one up.

I feel like the only closer way to sound like Jesse Ventura himself was to add a Minnesota accent. the Narrator did a very good job of this.

I found this book to be beyond educational. At times I felt like that maybe hurt this story just a bit. Speaking about the science between cannabis was where it got over my head, but that's me personally. I do think that this book had a bit for everyone. Science, conspiracy, legal, politics, tragedy and more.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who isn't to sure about Marijuana and its benefits. Anyone who is against or even on the fence about it. You're opinion will change, you will get a deeper understanding of this completely misunderstood plant.

Best Educational Yet Engaging Cannabis Story Yet
