George K. Wilson
In this explosive account of wrongful acts and ongoing cover-ups, Jesse Ventura takes a systematic look at the wide gap between what the American government knows and what it reveals to the American people.
For too long, we the people have sat by and let politicians and bureaucrats from both parties obfuscate and lie. And according to this former Navy SEAL, former pro wrestler, and former Minnesota governor, the media is complicit in these acts of deception. For too long, the mainstream press has refused to consider alternate possibilities and to ask the tough questions. Here, Ventura looks closely at the theories that have been presented over the years and separates the fact from the fiction.
In Ventura's eyes, the murder of Abraham Lincoln and the assassinations of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King all need to be reexamined. Was Watergate presented honestly, or was the CIA involved? Did the Republican Party set out to purposefully steal two elections on behalf of George W. Bush? Has all the evidence been presented about the 9/11 attacks, or is there another angle that the media is afraid to explore? And finally, is the collapse of today's financial order and the bailout plan by the Federal Reserve the widest-reaching conspiracy ever perpetrated?

What did you love best about American Conspiracies?
I liked the way the author ties together the history of conspiracies and events which show a cohesive picture of what really happened over our recent past. What did you like best about this story?
All of it.Which scene was your favorite?
The 9/11 portion of the book made so much sense based on only facts that it begs the re-opening of a real investigation however it would also reveal a deeper motivation and agenda. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Look Under the StonesAny additional comments?
I would have appreciated a more unbiased review of recent politics as it is clear the author favors a Democrat over Republican slant. A bias of "our side" vs. "their side" is moot considering the subject matter. In addition it comes across as somewhat disingenuous as Obama is obviously a socialist and continuing the decline of the consitution building on the actions of all the past offenders.Nicely done

Where does American Conspiracies rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
His is the only one. He's very believable and makes good rational sense. He seems to research his topics well, but there will always be that tiny seed of doubt if the information he received was accurate. What did you like best about this story?
His concern about the truth getting to the people. He is very passionate about what he does and that shows a lot about the book he wrote.Which character – as performed by George K. Wilson – was your favorite?
No favorites. If you could give American Conspiracies a new subtitle, what would it be?
Truth to the people about the people in power.Any additional comments?
I always enjoyed his TV show. He. was just so gruff and showed so much power in getting the information he needed, nothing seemed to stop him. Yes, I realize it was a TV show and they have to add a bit of glitz of some kind to sell it to the network, but I believe most of his was dead on. I wish they would bring it back.Jesse--True or no
