You will enjoy listening to this insightful and thought-provoking book. It's packed with research findings as well as illustrative stories supporting the author's premise of what makes people gritty. One noteworthy point, although talent can be important, grit can be even more so and can be learned and developed, to increase successful outcomes. Very good audiobook!

The flow was great and some of the points were well thought out. For me, it was a tough read. It did teach me a good deal about grit and how to spot it in people. Probably not enough to be a know it all or anything like that.

While it took grit (pun intended) for me to get through the book, it was a great audiobook and provided actionable steps to improve yourself.

This is some fantastic self-help material that goes far beyond self-help and into just flat out self-betterment and self-optimization. The author's qualitative and quantitative research never runs dry due to her amazing prose and writing ability. It is a ridiculously quotable book and extremely deep. "Grit" will most likely be a candidate for a re-listen.

A compelling and eye-opening read! The book thoroughly discusses the theory of GRIT and all of its contributing factors from a psychological point of view. The author challenges conventional predictors of success and digs deep to highlight the true key factors in success predictions.

I would especially recommend this book to anyone, like myself, that has an idea or goal. This book is comprehensive and well structured as it builds on concepts introduced from chapter to chapter. Grit is a weapon of mass "production", and highly dangerous in the hands of anyone who reads it!

It’s not just about the blanket statement of getting grit. Examples used in the book illustrate what grit is and its significance for achievements. I found the book quite motivating. The book talks about getting grit from your friends and family. Well, I feel grittier from this book!
