The Order of the Star Blade has one member, and that must change.

Jake Fox wrestles free of Sotalorian politics to return home and learn what really happened to Earth. Clever story with interesting characters and plot. The narration was excellent. I appreciate that the dialogue was not vulgar which seems to creep into many stories these days.

The series continues to be enthralling. Jake, the MC, returns to Earth to find the planet ravaged and humanity barely holding on. This trip also unravels some of the mystery as to why Earth became a point of interest, especially in regards to reinvigorating the order of the star blade.

A lot of this book didn’t interest me as much as other books but it fits the genre well. I look forward to the next book.

Entertaining store not overcomplicated good short read characters have good interaction relationships it’s sort of like the the Jedis in the establishment of the Jedis after they’ve been decimated tied in with earth and time travel

Star Blade book 2

The first book in the series was not that bad, so I bought book 2, but this one went really juvenile really fast. Author made no effort to build up and flesh out the characters from book 1, but just threw new characters in by the boat load until I had no idea who was who or what was going on. The characters' behaviors are unrealistic and make no sense at all. They just bumble around doing things without any real reasons that make sense. I may have just lost interest and missed sections but there were times when I think there may have been pages missing from the audio book. But, the "story" was so thin anyway I can't say for sure. It could have just been a lazy lack of concern for continuity by the author. I tried but just couldn't finish this one.
