When book 1 started I was a little put off by the fact that it was about high school students and felt it was a little immature. However I stuck with it and by the end of book 1 I was ready to keep going straight into book 2. Book 2 to me was a little more interesting as the plot unfolded. Plus we got to hear Kearan's POV which was awesome, especially since Teddy Hamilton is such a talented voice actor. Book 2 has ended and I'm already downloading book 3! Can't wait to hear where the other characters end up :)

Goodness! What a roller coaster of emotions and sorry changes. This series is so much more than the straight up sexual erotic book it was going to be. That being said it had quite a few steamy scenes!!!! Great Read/Listen. Narrators did good as well! Give the series a shot.

The first half of the first book was growling to get through, because the LFC was very whiny and meek. She started to gain strength towards the end of book 1 and book 2 made up for book 1. There is a lot more story telling and complexity in this book. The characters develop and towards the end I was really enjoying the book. I don’t know if I’ll read the others in the series, but this was a good intro.

The Second Book makes up for The First Book

This is book two of the duet and it was everything I expected and more. The narrators represented the characters quite well and kept the story moving nicely. Great book.

Kieran and Lakes story continues…. Can Kieran change? Can he become a better man? This is a story with many layers…. Kieran is how he was raised… cold and doesn’t know what love is. His life is in turmoil because his father is still out there.. he let Lake go… his brother hates him… and he wants to put the men who bought him when he was just a child away.

Lakes heart is broken. She tells him the he broke her just like they broke him…. Will it make him realize what he truly wants and needs?? Listen and find out!! You will not regret the listen!

Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton did a great job with these characters!!!

Enemies to lovers, bully romance. Ended with a happy ending (well considering). Characters are so traumatized and brings a level of “hurt people, hurt people” and it’s crazy. Narrators were great!

Enemies to lovers, part 2 of Lake & Keeran’s story

Lake & Kieran have a complicated past, and an instinctive pull towards each other.
Kieran is not the good guy, he has a past that was brutal and destructive, but maybe he’s not all bad?
Lake is stronger than she realizes, and finally takes back her power.
Their tumultuous relationship has its dark roots & devious beginning, but can Lake actually convince Kiernan he’s not the bad guy he was gröömed to be?
There was so much passion and angst and frustration, as well as secrets, twists and unexpected truths.

This could have been a long and tedious book and probably because of the narrators it was a great experience. I still have a hard time dealing with the fact that the characters have only 18 years, but other than that it was a good book.

Fear Us is the second book in the Broken Love series. This was the continuation of Keiran and Lake's story. I continued to love Keiran in this book. We learned so much more about what made him the person he is today and we got alot of history in this story which tied up alot of unanswered questions and brought everything full circle. I will admit Lake annoyed me with her back and forth hate/not hate of Keiran. However in spite of this I still enjoyed the story.
The narrators of this novel did a good job with the story. This was a good read and a good continuation to the series.

Broken Love! This is seriously an amazing story I was hooked from the very beginning!!! This story is a must and the narrators were fantastic kinda with the first book had 2 points of view! But nevertheless it was amazing this second part is a must!!!!
