I am excited to try some of the books on this episode. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the episodes in this series!

Looking Ahead

Story: 4-Stars
************

This episode shifted gears towards 'coming soon' titles instead of already-released audiobooks. Beyond covering the books themselves, the hosts provide some interesting insights into how publishers present their wares, the industry buzz surrounding certain impending releases, and known narrator choices for those who make selections with that as an important criteria. Given that I listened to this episode well after these titles were actually released, it was interesting to note how the editors' choices aligned with actual critical and commercial success (spoiler: they're pretty good!).

What I appreciated most about this episode is that there seemed to be a concerted effort to expand genre coverage significantly. While the hosts are clearly more comfortable speaking to their passions (aren't we all?), covering things like a fantasy novel and an academic religious title is a welcome bit of diversity.

Performance: 3-Stars
*******************

The hosts continue to improve the rhythm and pace of the show. There's a clear agenda that keeps the episode from devolving into the chaos to which multi-participant podcasts can fall victim.

Another great Audible podcast!

I'm really loving this Audible podcast. Perfect length for listening while I cook or commute into/out of town at around 30 minutes, give or take a few. In this episode, the Editors discuss which Spring 2018 audiobook releases they're most excited about.

I enjoyed this listen, just like I did with the previous two, but maybe just a little bit less. I'm a huge fan of the Editors' enthusiasm, so there were a couple of titles that I have added to my TBR (TBL) wishlist that I'm not sure I would have considered before - just because I'm not sure they were on my radar before now. But these gals have sold me. For example: I'm dying to hear The Power by Naomo Alderman and Educated by Tara Westover.

They mention quite a few audiobooks during the podcast, and if you're like me (busy while listening) and need to refer back to that list, you can visit https://www.audible.com/Audicted which is where the list of audiobooks discussed in each episode has been made available for us. I have used this link several times already since listening to the three episodes of Audicted available.

As of the time that I left this review, there aren't any further episodes of Audicted available --
but I'm certainly hoping that changes. I wanted to hear more!

Meh

Are all Audicted employees millennials? It sounds like my old study hall. They review some great audiobooks, but an older voice or two would be appreciated. From an old lady.
