The poor story line

Not sure what was worse the story or that horrible AI reading. Possibly if they had a decent reader, the story could’ve come off a little better but I’m not really sure how. The Bookclub group was portrayed in such a way that it was very insulting to senior citizens. How could they primarily read “crime “ and mysteries and not know what “spatter” means?!? Our community Bookclub thought it would be fun to read. Boy was I wrong! It was not enjoyable due to character under development… there wasn’t an ounce of sympathy for any of the characters.
