I loved these characters and their love story. My only criticism is the Audrey’s inner monologue was repetitive. She kept lamenting over focusing on her daughter over and over again and it was a little distracting. The heat and sweetness of the story made it still worth the listen.

I love the way Connor loved. I like all of him and his character. He was honest, upfront and truthful. Audrey was theeee most annoying character I have ever read in a story. Literally making up excuses to not have a relationship with the man that was embodying what he was speaking into the universe. Audrey kept saying things that Conor debunked ie how can he love his dead wife and her at the same time 🙄. Smh I was so close to not finishing the story. I was literally yelling if she mess this up I hope her daughter gives her the silent treatment. She even tried to say he used her for sex like bffr !. That man put his heart on his sleeve and this woman don't deserve it. SMH 🤦🏾‍♀️

I love the back and forth between main characters and their kids. This was a seamless transition. The slight drama didn't last, which was great for my anxiety haha. This will definitely become a reread for me 🩵🩵🩵

Sometimes I find myself annoyed by the way children are written in books, but this one was great. The girls were sweet and funny. And the way Connor and Audrey interacted with them was so sweet. Of course Connor stole my heart. And the performance was chef's kiss.
