I loved this book on audio, but I’m not sure I can wait for book 2 to arrive on Audible! I need to know what happens next! The story was wonderful, and the narration was awesome.

I loved it all from the banter, the slow burn, the friendships… such an easy read! The performances were phenomenal, both narrators are extremely talented and brought this book to life!

HOLY SMOKES. While this is a thicc book, it is totally worth it. The development of the characters and their relationships is fantastically done and I am so glad that I re-read it via audiobook. Duet narration is my favorite.

This was an engaging read—I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the narration.

What stood out most to me was the evolving friendship and relationship dynamic between Ainsley, Dash, and Felix. Since this is a character-driven series, I appreciated the time spent developing those bonds. That said, I did find myself frustrated at times with Ainsley’s choices—and occasionally Dash’s as well.

Felix might just be my favorite character! His humor and levity made him the perfect dose of comic relief.

The chemistry between Ainsley and Dash was undeniable—their steamy moments were definitely a highlight. I just wish they had communicated better and leaned on each other more during the tough times.

The ending was so freaking intense. That cliffhanger had me downloading book two right away—I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Felix is my favorite!

Honestly, if you removed all the teenage emotions and drama, there would be maybe an hour of an actual story. The narration was okay, but not great. I kept hoping things would get better or there would be more story or character development, but there isn’t.

Too much drama, not enough story

The main female narrators terrible performance ruins this book. She is not a good voice actor and was not a good fit for this book. The MMC narrator did a good job. Although he made the two MMC’s sound almost exactly the same. I read along while listening and I will probably read only for the remainder of the series. Good book ruined by terrible narration.
