Acerca de esta escucha
A Look Inside: Sonnets, Quatrains, Pantoums and Other Poems, offers short descriptions of many styles of poetry, followed by original poems inspired by each of these styles. The author shows us that anything can be the seed of creativity needed to tell a story and share thoughts and opinions. Through writing, we can explore our own point-of-view, or imagine being someone or something else, and wondering how they think and feel.
G. H. Paulson's beautiful writing inspires us to solve the puzzle of poetry, to think outside the box, and most importantly, to write, write, write!

A delightful anthology
I really enjoyed listening to all of these poems. I love that the author provided a brief description of the different types of poems and their history. I didn’t realize there were so many different types of poetry.
The narrator’s voice was clear and soothing. She excelled at bringing the author’s words to life. I would absolutely recommend this anthology to anyone who loves poetry!

A delightful collection of poems
What a wonderful collection of poetry! Many of the poems are playful and fun, while others deal with heavier subject matter. It reminds me a little bit of Vonnegut in that sense.
There are a number of recurring themes, images, and metaphors that are deftly woven throughout the book, which makes the whole collection feel very cohesive.
The narrator really brings the poems to life. Each poem is read with a subtly different personality, and the narration really adds a new dimension to the poems.
