Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

1st half of the book, the Narrator is congested
Revisado: 06-26-23
the last half is at least more bareable. The story was fantastic. I cannot express how much I loved this book. the plot, the character, the sexual tension, the dragons! I loved them all.

Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Narration isn't the worst I've had
Revisado: 06-06-23
looking at previous comments, alot of people complained about the narration and the plot. The narration wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. I really enjoyed this book. while yes there was a lot of sex, it was about conquering fears, forgiveness, trusting others. it was a journey. a slow journey but I enjoyed watching these characters grow. maybe I'm just a bit more simple minded than most but I throughly enjoyed reading this book. don't skip. so many details are missed by skipping.

Historia
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

Welcome to Derry, Maine. It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real. They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But the promise they made 28 years ago calls them reunite in the same place where, as teenagers, they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children.

Exceptional *slight spoilers*
Revisado: 06-27-21
I found this book on BookTok and thought the plot was interesting. The first couple of pages and you are immediately sucked in. I thought this book was well written, clever, and funny. I am 26 and don't usually read YA anymore but this was done so well. The chemistry between Pippa and Ravi was adorable and innocent. I truly loved their friendship. I even bought more credits so I could listen to the next couple of books. please read!

I am so happy with the way the plot turned out. It was better than I was expecting it to be and I cannot wait to get the 3rd book. I love the narration as well.
