of trying to portray events as factual by utilizing so called “official reporting documents”. The information given as being from the reports is in no way any method of documenting events that happened. The language used is much too colorful and flamboyant for writing in an official document. While the stories make for ok listening for those that want to propagate folk lore, they in no way come across to me as factual events from official documents or anything other than “he said, she said” type stories.

Too much bouncing back and forth between years, too much geo-political discussion, and too much of the narrators monotone reading made it difficult to get to even chapter 7, which is where I had to stop.

Although technical terminology has finally improved to refer to weapons ammunition holders as “magazines” instead of “clips”. The favorite firearm of Joes buddy Nate, is still described incorrectly. The weapon has a cylinder that houses rounds in chambers. Not rounds housed in cylinders??? The cylinder is fixed inside the frame and rotates on a base pin and cannot be swung out or swung closed. A loading gate is opened and rounds placed into the chambers of the cylinder. The author is not the only writer to improperly describe or use improper terminology, but it sure would be nice for one of them to get it right.

Covers non fly fishing lures, techniques and gear while claiming to be about fly fishing. Extremely basic when it does cover fly fishing, and I’m a beginner
