A great summering of all of this

After learning about OBEs, Robert Monroe, etc a few months ago I wanted a good source to understand the process without new-age fluff and this was it. The techniques are working.

This was a very interesting story with neat character development. The only thing that weakened it was the contact f bombs and language. I realize the protagonist is a high school guy, but it just was a needlessly offensive distraction that only took away from the narrative.
It's on thing to have someone get angry and speak some expletives. It's another to repeat it hundreds of times, at which point they are no long expletives so much as needless words that also cannot be played aloud in good company.

What did you like best about this story?
Really held my Interest. Loved the play on politics too. It was pretty hard scifi and I not for kids to some of the sexuality, but well written and engaging.
