Not believable….Shallow.
Revisado: 02-25-24
I wanted to try a new author and get some fresh story telling. I should have realized that in the first 10 minutes this story did not grab me. Usually when a story does not grab me in the first 10, 20 or even 30 minutes I drop it and return it. But I wanted to give this story a chance I wanted to give these characters a chance I wanted to give this author a chance. I was very wrong. The plot was shallow at best. The shenanigans were gimmicky and even young adults would believe these characters trying these crazy shenanigans. I’m not sure what the author was trying to convey in the story, but it failed for me. The story has convinced me not to try new authors for quite some time.
I don’t believe that she is an author that I will seek out her stories. If this is the timber of her stories, these are not for me. Again, these are my opinions only for me.

Historia
Do you believe in love at first sight? Corey Ellis sure doesn't. Oh, everyone around him seems to have found their happy ending, but he's far too busy to worry about such things. He'll have plenty of time for romance after he survives his last summer before graduation. So what if he can't get his former professor, Jeremy Olsen, out of his head? It's nothing more than hero worship. And that's the way it should stay. Except bi-gender Corey - aka Kori - is interning at Phoenix House for the summer, an LGBTQI youth center, and the director just so happens to be a certain former professor.

Dreadful narration
Revisado: 02-05-24
I really tried to listen to this final chapter in this series. I could not make the leap and had to delete it from my library. The narrator just could not bring the characters alive the way in which the previous narrator did in the last 4 books.
I understand why the previous narrator pulled out of the project, but when you are used to his version of characters voices it becomes impossible for me to continue. It’s like listening to imposters trying to bring to life beloved characters.

Historia
When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Revisado: 04-08-23
I really tried to like this story. I felt on the verge of a diabetic coma. It was just too cute and unrealistic. I enjoy a very different style and performance of a story. Not my cup of tea. I did slog through the story just to say I did it.

The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men's locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don't mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel just as I asked the first question. On camera.

Ridiculous
Revisado: 02-19-22
To the point. The character Delilah was pathetic. The amount of time I rolled my eyes was Discouraging. Every time I thought she would be a strong independent woman, she acted like a love starved middle schooler. Brody was a disgusting pig, can’t add more to that. Indy was one of the only characters that I felt was true to form and was realistic. Marlene was a good intermediate character when the two main characters were acting the fool. Willow seemed an add on to give the book some extra pages.
All in all not at not satisfied with this book. No depth or feel for the main characters.
The narration was fantastic. The two narrators took a less than mediocre story and gave it their best shot. How they kept the distain and humor out of their voices is a Testament to their professional demeanor.

Historia
When I rode my bike into Aster Valley, it was supposed to be temporary. A quick, relaxing visit with friends. No entanglements. Zero drama. But then I saw the bumblebee being harassed on the side of the highway. More specifically, I saw Truman Sweet, Aster Valley’s resident botanist, spice merchant, and bee-costume enthusiast, being harassed.

Unbelievable
Revisado: 07-10-21
The character of Truman completely and utterly ruined this story for me. I tried to finish this book but when I got to the ER part and once again for the 1000th time Truman rolled over and let this old man character take over and Sam just sat there. Enough is enough. I understood his submissive nature, but coupled with his other character traits. It became to unbelievable for me to finish.
I no longer care to know the outcome. It’s just too far fetched. I’m a huge fan of SciFi and fantasy, but this drivel far exceeds any fantasy story.
It is well written and moves along well. Most of the secondary characters are very believable and add to the story, however they all could not overcome the duo of Sam and Truman.
The book prior was amazing. We meet Sam and Truman in the first book and they seemed a great story idea. Absolutely farthest from the truth. I would not waste my time. I may read the third book in the series in a few years when the experience of this book has faded into the past.

I rarely review books, but I have decided that Project Hail Mary deserves one. It is a magnificent story and narration. Brilliant unfolding story about a mission to save mankind and another race.

Historia
In Oceanport, New England's most gossipy small town, people wonder about Griff. Such a cute omega can't possibly be satisfied without a proper mate they say. Yet he'll be 30 soon and as far as they know he's never been with anyone! The truth is that Griff has given up on finding love...that is until his childhood best friend moves back to town and sets his heart on fire. When Dean's firefighter career is sidetracked by a tragic accident, returning to his roots to mend seems like a good move. It gives him a chance to breathe, as well as a chance to reconnect with his oldest friend.

A Bit Too Surgary
Revisado: 07-01-18
This book is one of two that I have read in this series. I can't take a third. The plot and narration are great, however the writing is too simplistic and too sugary. I found myself yelling at the characters to grow up and grow a pair. I wont be reading the third book its too difficult to get around the simplistic writing.
