Historia
Aspiring author Michelle Moss meets her Prince Charming at a Masquerade Ball only to discover the man behind the mask is Brooks Keller, the editor who just rejected her manuscript and the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart. It wasn’t a glass slipper that Michelle Moss left behind at the Masquerade Ball, but a beat up laptop. Her driver remained human, her ride didn’t turn into a pumpkin, and thank goodness she didn’t see any mice waiting for her in her condo. But Michelle did spontaneously kiss her masked Prince Charming and was determined to find him. Tracking down her missing laptop ...

Just Awful
Revisado: 01-29-25
AI narrates this romance that appears a seventh grader wrote. I couldn’t hate it more.

Historia
All I’ve ever wanted is to be a mother. And as soon as I looked into the beautiful, bright blue eyes of this baby tucked in her blanket, my world felt complete. Stepping into the cold air outside of the hospital doors, a shiver runs through me. I know my life will never be the same again. I slip off her little white medical bracelet and put it in the pocket of my jeans. I think of the woman upstairs in the hospital room who will soon return and find her child gone. I hesitate. Am I doing the right thing?

Slow, confusing first half.
Revisado: 01-10-25
I almost gave up when I was half way through because it is so slow and confusing. Nothing happens and when it does it’s written in a way so the twist isn’t revealed. The problem is that it’s too slow and confusing to want to continue. I completed it but it was too little too late for me to recommend this book. I saw it had high reviews but honestly wish I would’ve spent my credit and time on something else.

Just my luck - my new next door neighbor is a unicorn. Yep, the British hottie is clearly a mythical man because - get this - he's a sexy, witty, charming, big-hearted single dad. Who, wait for it, wants to find Mrs. Right and get hitched. He’s a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of man, and it’s a darn shame I’m not on the market. If I were, his accent alone would melt me. Add in the fact that he's a veterinarian, and my animal-loving heart would be flip flopping.

So Bland

Nothing really interesting happened and it was equivalent to chicken without spice. Everyone is nice and everyone gets along fine but it was so boring.
