Growing up Irish American in Charlestown, MA with American military and IRA family members, I can identify with a lot of the author’s points of view. The book does a very good job of keeping you interested and engaged. Great story and well told.

Being born & raised on Bunker Hill I used to find cannon and musket balls while digging in the yard as a kid.
I found this book accurate, informative and entertaining.
Happy Bunker Hill Day 2024! Next year is our 250th!

Disappointed

It’s not the entire Bible, only the New Testament. Also, instead of chapters, the books should be named.
Of course Mr Jones does a great job reading.

Halting attempt to narrate

The narrator has a good voice, but the halting nature of his reading tone really got to me after hours of hearing it.
You can really tell the difference when a professional does it as opposed to a celebrity.

FREE J6 POLITICAL PRISONERS

With the recent release of J6 footage that has been hid from the public, especially by the so-called “January 6 Committee” (which was a Hollywood TV produced show trial that Stalin would’ve been jealous of) this book is still relevant. Nobody has been held accountable for Ashli Babbit’s death & there are still innocent political prisoners doing time.

Scary how much has come true

The way the current political climate has shifted from moderate to extremist has been happening for years, though it seems sudden.
Since the 1960’s western society has turned its back on truth and justice in favor of an “inclusive” ideology and political correctness that’s neither inclusive nor correct.
This book used to be a scary one because, when it was written, this kind of political indoctrination and coercion was so far beyond the pale that it could be appreciated for the warning it was.
However, we’ve unfortunately ignored the warnings this piece of fiction provides us and the contents of this book are no longer unimaginable and incredible but likely and possible.

Not a bad story

The “death by misadventure” of Ben (the narrator) is a fairly good story about the pandemic lockdown & a haunted flat. It has a few loud noise spooks & unfortunately drags politics into it, but overall it was good for a laugh.

Great book, perfect performance!

The Exorcist holds true to the old adage that the book is always better than the movie. Being a motion picture classic, I had seen the film long before reading the book. The movie does stay mostly truthful to the book however.
Usually was when books are narrated by their authors, you can tell. The performance aspect is not usually present. Also, hearing anyone other than the reader tends to lessen it in my opinion
This audiobook though, is the exception. Blatty does extremely well in what I would think to be a difficult book to narrate. In addition, the voice of Regan (while possessed & not) by Eliana Shaskan greatly adds to the narrative.
SEMI-SPOILER!!
I love when she sings the Catholic hymns (in Latin) in the background while Blatty continues the narrative! Adds so much creepiness to the atmosphere!

But The Dems Are The Good Guys...Right?!

This book explains the history and motivation of the Democrat Party today. Admittedly DJTJr is sometimes plain spoken in this book, but “flash” and “glitz” isn’t what is needed when telling the truth. The Democrats are not your grandfather’s union party! Put the “fake news” reviews away and judge for yourself. Give it a listen, maybe you’ll hear something new. Listen to some “old fashioned” new ideas, while questioning others. You might be surprised.
