Nice build up but too short of a time span within the story.
Revisado: 04-26-25
I like the strategy being laid out so well but again they did so much show and tell here for a nine day time span.

The lonely man grew a brain and became more than a tool. He developed self motivation and is not just a mindless paladin by the end of the book. Now I want to see what he does.

Revisado: 12-24-24
The story is balanced and believable. That’s about as good as you can ask for in litrpg these day literally no authors are planning to finish their series so long as they are selling

Historia
Phoebe, the soulless child, has been raised by her adoptive father, Eric—the universe-hopping vampire wizard from the future. After all, who better to raise a soulless infant than an undead monster? He did his best to raise her right. He made certain she was well-educated. He picked a reasonably decent culture for her to grow up in. He trained her in her powers, taught her everything he could, and even broadened her horizons by touring other worlds, other times, other histories—and some futures!

All this book does is make you feel robbed that the MC only gets one book in the series. Loved it and hate that it’s over.

Everything is solid.
Revisado: 09-24-24
The hero is not a bleeding heart or a mad man. He every single plot point is well thought out and the story provides just enough closure to keep you interested. The only flaw is that the MC is from a world with tech and does absolutely nothing with that knowledge. One sniper rifle and the entire world would be his but alas the writer couldn’t make it happen so he just conveniently forgot about modern weapons.

Historia
Michael has taken the Game by the throat. No longer content to lurk in the shadows, he has started down a path that will inevitably bring him into conflict with the Powers. But the Powers are no easy foes. Nor are they Michael’s only adversaries. Other enemies stir. Some confront him openly, while others watch patiently from the sidelines. A lone wolf no more, and with many of his own pieces in play, Michael may find himself more exposed than he believes. The stakes are high. And the schemes of the players convoluted.

Fast progress
Revisado: 06-01-24
The main character is advancing very fast. It just seems like the kinds of tasks he’s having to do are outside his power range and there’s never a power greater than him. It’s just suggested that he could die at any moment from people who are incredibly powerful, but for some reason, they ignore him, even though they shouldn’t. other than that, all aspects of the story are fantastic.

Historia
The Majority always gets what it wants. Thomas Hill just wishes it didn't want him. There's no way to escape a galactic mob of mind readers, no way for him to blend in with his foster family and other average Americans. Because Thomas invented a way to save his own life. His custom medicine halts the progress of his degenerative neuromuscular disease. Newscasters proclaim him the next Einstein, but mere humans have no idea his bioengineered processing capacity rivals that of a supercomputer. They just think he's smart. However, there are other bioengineered supergeniuses in the Majority.

The concept and execution are fantastic. But the characters are all so pathetic you don’t want to see them succeed.
Revisado: 04-22-24
The title of the review says it all. The characters are all whining babies and spend about 80 percent of the text of this book being crying children inside their own minds. The author backed themselves into a corner by making an antagonist that’s too powerful to reasonably overcome. This results in the villains being forced to act utterly stupid and then extending that stupidity to trillions of other individuals across the entire galaxy. Somehow no one in the literal entire universe is capable of rational thought when the MCs are involved. This is accompanied by the MCs constantly failing upwards. There’s suspension of disbelief and then there’s telling yourself that anything in this book is possible. If you like these characters just wow.

The MC is an NPC so flat and boring
Revisado: 04-06-24
Everyone in the is book is a complete moron. I wish the monsters had a chance to eliminate them. Zero stakes, not tension, no character development. This is a high schooler’s attempt at a fantasy novel.
