Phoebe, the soulless child, has been raised by her adoptive father, Eric—the universe-hopping vampire wizard from the future. After all, who better to raise a soulless infant than an undead monster?

I enjoyed this book. It's his daughter who has to make her own way in the world and fight your own battles. It's quite enjoyable to see her fight those in her league.

Great Story to fill the gap while waiting for a new Nightlord. However get use to a total fickle young girl who cant make a decision, at every point she boast her skill.. she seemingly has no idea how to use it and outwardly postures this WOKE perception however has no awareness that her actions ruin countless lives yet she believes her indecisiveness had no play…
Great job on triggering my emotion’s and making me talk out loud at the book.. not sure i am in love with this style of Character but i liked the story. I think i prefer her dads adventures…

the author himself is amazing most people will get bored with all the talking and not alot of action how ever the way he builds each character and how he can draw your emotions is something that's hard to find

I’m a fan of the nightlord books. This is a great spinoff. Can’t wait for book 2

Phoebe is an amazing character, and this made me like her even more! I never write reviews, but this required me to write one.

a little skeptical when I went in on how this one would turn out but I like the main Series so I figured I'd give it a spin I wouldn't be against seeing one of these every three books or so that way it doesn't take too much away from the main story but we still get something on the side and it keeps the writer from getting writers blocked cuz he's thinking on something else from time to time

After The last book, I was worried this series was dying. This book has restored my faith. It had the perfect blend of magic, conflict, resolution, and action that can only come from a NightLord book. Looking forward to what comes next!
