Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Flawless
Revisado: 10-23-24
I have been eyeballing this series for a while. But just decided to start it. The author is absolutely brilliant. 👏 👏👏 The storyline is captivating, the romance and spice is HOT 🥵 and the character development is spot on. 🎯 Loved the added humor in some scenes. Loved the dragons having their own personalities. LOVED this book. it has become one of my top favorites, and I'm an avid (and very picky) reader.
S.N. not sure why everyone is hating on the narrator. I think she did a fabulous job. I Really enjoyed listening to her. And as anyone who listens to audio books know, narrators can make or break a book. 10/10 narration.

Historia
Fresh out of rehab, Mallory Quinn takes a job as a babysitter for Ted and Caroline Maxwell. She is to look after their five-year-old son, Teddy. Mallory immediately loves it. She has her own living space, goes out for nightly runs, and has the stability she craves. And she sincerely bonds with Teddy, a sweet, shy boy who is never without his sketchbook and pencil. His drawings are the usual fare: trees, rabbits, balloons. But one day, he draws something different: a man in a forest, dragging a woman’s lifeless body.

Very well written book
Revisado: 09-30-24
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think it had a strong storyline and kept the reader engaged. I didn't see the twist coming. It caught me off gaurd, which is good considering I can usually guess how a book will end. I also really liked the narrator. She did a fabulous job in making distinctive voices for the variety of different characters.

An amazing book, but could have been so much more!
Revisado: 08-15-24
This book was literally one of the best mystery/thriller books I've listened to in a long time. BUT, I wish the author would have taken a little more time to wrap up the ending! It feels incomplete to me. I can understand a cliff hanger if there was actually a sequel to this book. but to end it with that last sentence and not ever finish it? Idk. At the end of the day I want COMPLETE ANSWERS. You can only do so much theorizing. But if you're never able to get answers, what's the point?
It's definitely worth the listen. Character development is on point, and the storyline is solid. 4/5 stars 🌟 I'll definitely check out more books by this author. hopefully they will have complete endings. 🤦♀️

Wow. I applaud the author. I haven't read a book that caught me off gaurd in a long time. Usually I can guess the ending of a book. This one took me by surprise completely. great job.

10/10 would recommend
Revisado: 08-09-24
I am a harsh reviewer. Alot of books lack a structured storyline and have poor character development. THIS book, was beautifully written from start to finish. The plot was spot on, the attention to detail, the characters felt like real people. AND it was realistic. I can't stand when the book is far fetched because the author wants to have a good twist ending. I will definitely be checking out more from this author!

>"Lily?" My stomach dropped as a tall, dark-haired man stepped into view. Had he been hiding between the trees? "No. Sorry." Gulping, I took a step back. "I'm not Lily." He shook his head, a satisfied grin on his face. "No. You are Lily." "I'm Summer. You have the wrong person." For months, Summer is trapped in a cellar with the man who took her - and three other girls: Rose, Poppy, and Violet. His perfect, pure flowers. His family. But flowers can't survive long cut off from the sun, and time is running out....

Very Repetitive
Revisado: 07-31-24
Overall, I liked the idea of the book. But I think the author didn't execute the story well. it had alot of repetition in it, and I understand that's part of the main idea of the book, but it lacked action, in my opinion. The narrator didn't help either, very mono toned. I'd rate it a 2.5 out of 5.

SLOWWWW Start
Revisado: 07-22-24
The book was decent. It took over half the book to start getting interesting. If it hadn't of been an audible I would have probably DNF'd it. The ending was pretty good, although some of it was predictable. I did like the narrator. Overall 3 out of 5 stars.
