Historia
Back in the 1860s, you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone more famous and revered than Preston Dilettante, America’s greatest long-distance pedestrian. Preston’s descendants dispersed across the U.S.A., and his most devoted among them, Walker Dilettante, shall literally follow in his ancestor’s footsteps and walk across the country. He just wants to reunite the whole lot before his beloved Grandpappy walks his last steps. But Walker’s walk isn’t a solo trip — he’s joined by his social media-savvy cousin Ria, and trailed by mysterious forces and ancient rivals alike. And along ...

An Absolute Joy!
Revisado: 09-17-24
What an adventure! Filled with colorful characters, a Forrest Gump reminiscent adventure, and heartfelt storytelling, Walker is fun, funny, and genuine. One of my favorite books I’ve read in a while. Learned what a bindle was too! Left me wanting more - hope there is a sequel!

Historia
At just 15, Tana Douglas ran away to the circus that was rock 'n' roll in the 1970s, taking a job with a young and upcoming band called AC/DC. While still a teenager she headed to the UK and later the US to work for a who's who of bands and artists. Life on the road was exhilarating, hard work, occasionally surreal but never dull, particularly when you're the only woman in the road crew and the #metoo movement is still 40 years away.

Historia
Bob Odenkirk’s career is inexplicable. And yet he will try like hell to explicate it for you. Charting a “Homeric” decades-long “odyssey” from his origins in the seedy comedy clubs of Chicago to a dramatic career full of award nominations - with a side trip into the action-man world that is baffling to all who know him - it’s almost like there are many Bob Odenkirks! But there is just one and one is plenty. Featuring humorous tangents, wild characters, and Bob’s trademark unflinching drive, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is a classic tale told by a determined idiot.

Doesn’t Go Anywhere
Revisado: 02-10-22
We had a great set up for this book with the rising storm but sadly this one doesn’t really go anywhere. It’s another disaster on the hands of the nihil where the Jedi are too confident and it costs them. This was the point of the last two books. It would have been more interesting to have the Jedi fight the Nihil or actually learn more about them, but they keep prolonging a story that doesn’t need to be prolonged this long. We don’t even learn anything about the force killer.
