Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Stuck in my throat
Revisado: 11-23-24
I loved this story. It was a total left turn for me. the story is a delightful slice of life. nothing happens, but everything does. Wholesome, sweet, kind, and slow. It gave me that tight throat that is almost happy tears. I hate tears. I loved this book.

F*@#!+g AI narration
Revisado: 01-31-24
I tried. I really did. if there is more than one way to pronounce a word it will, it cannot read an RPG statement list at all which is painful for an RPG book. It has 1 tone, and that is bored. life and death screamed exclamation is monotone. this story deserved better. This series was my first and second book of AI narration. I will avoid it going forward.

Historia
Slain by the Gods and reborn as a Dungeon Core, Ace becomes the only dungeon in the world able to resurrect adventurers after killing them and stealing their power. Centered in the battlefield between the six elemental factions, Ace begins his ascension through the ranks of advancement in tandem with the first human to enter his domain. Dungeons of the six factions live symbiotically with humans, each growing in power from interacting with the other, however that quest for power has left the human world in a state of constant conflict— a conflict made exponentially worse by the recent ...

A.I. is... odd
Revisado: 01-31-24
overall I liked it. The AI narration lacks the depth of a true VA. not much emotion or context. Also sounds are botched. BADLY. the cute sound Awww is "aye Dubya dubya!" that and others is jarring. I am sure it saves costs and isn't that bad but coil actors add so much depth.

Awesomely annoying
Revisado: 04-05-23
This is a great story. I enjoyed all the books. There are two massive caveats: gratuitous swearing that detracts from the story and basic engineering blunders.
I really enjoyed the story and can forgive the glaringly ludicrous issues. For example, the author routinely calls a cube 20 feet on a side 20 square feet. It hurts to hear.
The MC has a feeble grasp of personal powers and across several books, on the same power expresses confusion on a spell, with the same answer each time.
The books feel like they were written on a loose outline that was accomplished in fits and starts over enough time that previous parts were forgotten.
Exclusive of these issues, I did enjoy the story. I have listened to it a few times. my complaints only arose as my frustration arose after repeat listening, so that should show the smaller degree than my complaints seem. It's a good story, simple in its progression and complexity.

Well worth it!
Revisado: 01-01-22
2 of the 4 titles were great, 2 were decent. there were some that I want to find the rest of the series, and a few were a 1 time try. 3 were RPG and one wasn't. To each their own. I thought these would be steamy, but they were better stories than I expected!
