Historia
Joe Goldberg is ready for a change. Instead of selling books, he’s writing them. And he’s off to a good start. Glenn Shoddy, an acclaimed literary author, recognizes Joe’s genius and invites him to join a tight-knit writing fellowship at Harvard. Finally, Joe will be in a place where talent matters more than pedigree . . . where intellect is the great equalizer and anything is possible. Even happy endings. Or so he thinks, until he meets his already-published, already-distinguished peers, who all seem to be cut from the same elitist cloth.

Meh
Revisado: 05-03-23
I enjoyed every book in the You series, this one however, lacked all the oomph the last three had. It felt rushed, and also as a woman, I was really hoping Joe got found out. I know the tv series is ending and although I was mad that Netflix deviated from the books, I see that as a blessing now because if this is what happens next, I’m incredibly sorry to say to Kepnes that I pass because the first three were actually quite enjoyable, and not just because Santino killed it, (all the puns) but they were more nuanced and deep.
Idk, I guess I’m just waiting for Joe to be made accountable for all of the darlings he’s murdered.
The ending kind of bothered me, because letting Joe walk off into the sunset with a fan, making him sound like “the good guy,” that was it for me.
Take this with a grain of salt though. Kepnes is an amazing novelist, just this time her storytelling was lackluster.

Ever since her dad disappeared five years ago, Persephone has quietly walled off the feelings she’d rather not feel. There’s no room for pain or anger when you’re just trying to get through the hell that is high school. But one day, the crush of taunts and disappointments is finally too much—and a power breaks loose inside her that she never knew was there.

It was alright.
Revisado: 03-06-23
I've been a fan of Lev Grossman ever since Codex. Though this is not a fully fleshed-out story, it was entertaining, but I feel like there could have been more context since I was left wondering through in places and found myself going back to the beginning to figure out what I missed, but did not come full circle to understand. The teen angst is relatable, but I still think there could have been more world building and character development to give it depth, and yet, you can only do so much when is a short story, so I don’t hold its shortcomings against it.
Overall, it was a good short story, and would like to read more given the chance.

One of my face series of all time!
Revisado: 12-26-22
The story takes us further into what is happening on Tygon. All our favorite characters are back. Carl, Silvie, Desdemona, Stephanie, Brandon, and the old man, and more!
I recommend that once you're done with the book, stick till after credits for a treat courtesy of the inimitable Luke Daniels.
Terry, if you are reading these, don’t leave us hanging. We want more! This was by far one of my favorite books in the series, but please, I beg of you, give us longer chapters! We just can’t get enough!!!

Revisado: 05-07-20
I love to meditate and do yoga, so when I can't get out of my obligations, this works for me on the go. Or on a busy morning, before my family wakes up, this is perfect! Thank you for making my life easier!
However. Day 4 left me scratching my head, and I lost my focus midway because I needed a better explanation of what I was doing.
In the middle of breathing, soon after my instructor said to take a minute for myself, he should've communicated better that I needed to take my deep-4sec-breaths back. It is imperative that he does this, as a lack of insight on instructions is nonessential. I couldn't pick myself up until the near end. Other than that, I am enjoying this entire set, and can't wait to finish it. Recommend it 100%.

Revisado: 06-25-19
The usual awesome Suarez which is a lot to say because he is AMAZING.
I had been checking in anticipation for a new DS title to come through and boy this did not disappoint but he left me hanging on a tether through the second half. Why Daniel?:'(
Don't get me wrong. It wasn't at all, like Daemon, Influx doesn't apply but. BOY I LOVE THOSE NOVELS SO MUCH—and please excuse my emphasis, but really, the only way I could see this working is if we get a sequel, please?
I won't be able to sleep at night. I'll have to re-read this and listen over and over, do both at the same time to immerse myself in the story, cover those gaps, figure out what went wrong that I did not like from the story that just wasn't to par.
Maybe Daemon ruined it for me. Maybe I'm just spoiled. Maybe I just need a sequel.
Whatever it is I know Suarez has me covered so. Hurry up. hah! Like good novels are written overnight. No. Please take your time.
We wouldn't want you to butcher the story of our lives.
Now go Science the h8ck out of that Sequel, please and thank you. (Insert one job gif here- funny girl talking, :P)
That is all.

Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

How could FOX scrub the OG Script? You had 1 JOB!
Revisado: 06-12-19
WEAPONIZED XENOMORPHS?!
How did we not get this script into a movie? What were the executives at Fox thinking to not give us the movie that we deserved when they killed Hocks and Newt? What Gibson brought what us, millions of Alien fans around the world would call the Holy Grail after Aliens in the mid80’s is pure and utter redemption and at the hands of the King 👑
Dirk Maggs, is but a gift. 🙌🏻👏🏻
We are NOT worthy!
Lance Henriksen, Michael Biehn, the amazing, Laurel Lefkow, ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!!!
MUTHUR-Lorelei King, Tom Alexander, Barbara Barnes, Keith Wickham, because James Spooner aka “Sterling” Cliff Chapman, Samantha Coughlan, Ben Cura, Dar Dash, Harry Ditson, Mairead Doherty, Graham Hoadly, Martin McDougall, Sarah Pitard, Michael Roberts, David Seddon, Siri Steinmo, Dai Tabuchi, and Rebecca Yeo a cast that alone deserves an audit for a performance that for 30 years the fans deserved to hear after all the neglect they were subjected to from Fox. Thank you for giving us what we deserved.🙏🏻
YOU HAD ONE JOB FOX!☝️🏻
Took them 30 YEARS to give us this masterpiece.
Having read all of the comics; I had to process before posting this review because the visual aesthetic is one thing from being presented and listening to it is a different beast. What an absolute masterpiece that needs to be taken into its full context!
Saying goodbye to Ripley, Bishop, Hicks, and Newt again. My heart!🥺
How could Fox be so callous with the first script they hired Gibson to write for them, shut it in the dark under lock and key for 30 years and favor a different one, and give us Fiorina? How was that even an option?
That course took us to a precedent that killed an entire franchise.
That timeline was marred, but with this, finally! Vindication for Alien fans after years of abandon.
Truly, the gift after decades!
In the words of Bishop, and I speak for everyone when I say, “Not Bad for a Human.” Gibson, you magnificent man, Dirk Maggs, and team, what a humbling gift.
I Don't understand why some people don't like audible production, and that is fine too. They have never read the comics like all of us have. All of them.
It's what is all about, different opinions and its okay! Nevertheless we are grateful.
Please, let us have a continuation to this story if there is a small chance that it will be taken further in any way?!
IF we’re going to XenomorphPrime WE HAVE TO KNOW! 😩
Please, make it so?!
The fans demand more productions like this.
Ridley is taking too long and don't get me started with our timelines, he is killing them!
This production is everything.
A Hybrid Xenomorph? 😦🙌🏻
Like, Yeah, no, wait, what? YES!
I can't be the only one sweating bullets for Hicks... Join me!👊🏻😅
I’ll cope with a movie. Come on, FOX! DO YOUR THING, TAKE MY MONEY!
All the Audies for this Script!

What would it have been like to be an eyewitness to the Big Bang? In 2014, astronomers wielding BICEP2, the most powerful cosmology telescope ever made, revealed that they'd glimpsed the spark that ignited the Big Bang. Millions around the world tuned in to the announcement broadcast live from Harvard University, immediately igniting rumors of an imminent Nobel Prize. But had these cosmologists truly read the cosmic prologue or, swept up in Nobel dreams, had they been deceived by a galactic mirage?

The breakthrough, and a roller coaster ride...
Revisado: 02-17-19
Not only does the scientific community but anyone with interest in this subject get to embark in this adventure. How the LIGO team discovered Gravitational Waves and at the center of such breakthrough a roller coaster. Hop in!
Brian Keating, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at UCSD takes us in a journey of discovery in Losing the Nobel Prize.
In September 2015 the LIGO team confirmed the existence of Gravitational Waves 100 years after a major prediction in Einstein’s famous General Theory of Relativity, E=mc2.
Unfortunately even after this massive accomplishment they still lost this monumental award winning a year later.
I know. No use to dwell on the past but I stand by him when he says “Dead men win no Nobels” because he is absolutely right, Science IS at stake.
The Nobel committee should rewrite their non conformist policies. Regardless of age, gender and posthumous awards need apply here. They should be awarded.
Although science isn’t about the recognition because the fruits of discovery are in themselves reaping good fruit; if the scientific community isn’t willing to recognize the men and women’s hard work for all the advancements in understanding how the universe works, how are we to inspire the future generations?
It’s imperative we give them their due.
This was such a huge discovery, and so it has been the ones that came before it.
This is not an angry review I promise but It’s a rather grateful one.
That we have all been given access to what went through the mind of these geniuses in the LIGO Labs although some will contend that it was the lasers instead than the men and women behind these experiments, is but a gift.
Every single Laureate, every single scientist in the world working in the field in outreach after years and years of research confirming those theories; my stars, 100 years. If Einstein were alive today; I wonder what would he have to say after this massive breakthrough.
We can only hope funding is acquired for future research and other projects should be pursued. Just 2 labs simply aren’t enough.
This isn’t a book you want to miss, and it’s one for the ages too. You want to buy one for your friends if they love science in general, those who have no understanding in the field will understand easily the subject and those that do understand it will love it even more so.
An in-depth view at what goes through the minds of men and women who walk the long and narrow passage to discovery which can be both fortuitous and lonely sometimes; all the way from Antarctica to the farthest reaches of the space where black holes merge in which the universe can help you confirm what you so long for, and humanity can take everything from you because it is what we usually do.
But that never stopped us before and our determination is far greater than anything.
We are explorers, wanderers and we shall continue on to the stars for that in itself is the true reward.
What are you waiting for? You won’t be able to put it down. Also, did I mention the chapter names are bomb?! An homage to pop culture. Bravo Professor. BRAVO! I got a kick every. Single. Time.
Now, if LIGO could please get more funding to upgrade the interferometers and see what neutron stars and pulsars are doing in deep space (if I’m understanding this correctly) and perhaps in a not so distant future it could also be sent to Space would be great. It works. It’s time.
Thank you Professor for such a wonderful read and listen. I’ll liaten to this again and again. Loved it!

Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.
