Historia
How did America end up with a leader who acts so crudely and despotically, and counter to our democratic principles? Why do his followers stick with him, even when he acts against their interests? John Dean, a man with a history of standing up to autocratic presidents, joins with Bob Altemeyer, a psychology professor with a unique area of expertise: authoritarianism. Together, using psychological diagnostic tools, as well as exclusive research and analysis from the Monmouth University Polling Institute, the authors provide us with an eye-opening understanding of the Trump phenomenon.

Understanding the Psychology of the Maga Cult
Revisado: 02-26-25
If you're like myself, who's trying to dig into the psychology of the Maga Cult (not to be confused with the Republican party), this is a great book to start off with. The backstory of DT, who many do not know much about helps elaborate on his thinking process and behavioral patterns. I highly recommend this book for those trying to better yourselves in reaction to the cult mentality and how to engage or disengage with them.

Good but at times Annoying
Revisado: 02-20-25
I think this book would have been better off read physically then the audiobook. There was was too many reference points mentioned in the audiobook and it was confusing as sometimes it would go back to something that was already read.

Gonna need to read the book
Revisado: 03-14-19
The story went back and forth a bit much. I'm gonna actually read the book to get myself more obsolved into the story and the message. But other then that I like the inspiration behind it :) ❤
