Just as in the 2nd book, the main character Evan "the mighty muffin lord" ;) is silly, sweet and relatable. Kooyah (spelling?) is just as mischeavious as always and while still being adorably cute & innocent, his heart definitly goes out for Prince Sauwer (spelling?). Otherwise an incredibly awesome book to listen to over and over again. (as this listener is currently doing)
It's worth the credit or price asked! Can hardly wait for book 3!

Narrator and overall storyline being relatable.

First off to find a narrator that can nail the characters so well is a definite challenge. Im hoping that Nick J Russo also does the 3rd book as well. Then the storyline definately keeps your attention. Didnt really find any boring sections. The steaminess of Evan and his men are (at times) hillarous and predictable but worth every moment together. Im keeping this review short as I am eagar to go back and relisten to the first book again.

PLEASE keep writing these book and PLEASE release the 3rd book! I can hardly wait!

Unexpectedly sweet, thoughtful, entertaining.

Didnt know what to really think of this one, as I just found another series i forgot to previously checkout. These characters were new to me yet I could easily fill in the gaps. Thos one I will definitely listen to over and over! Also, I can definitely appreciate the Fam friendly vibe in the book.!

Quirky but worth it!

This series took me by surprise and the Narrator got the characters on point! Worth listening to if you know people like this orvif brings back old memories. (Sigh - good though)

How to describe thee most epic and perfect listen? Just simply listen to the characters and their moments within their lives being portrayed like you've known them your entire life! Bravisimo to the writers and to the narrator who nailed it in every act and chapter! I can hardly wait for the book in line! OMG!

Although I like Tantor audio, this title is not worth the time or credit for this user. I like Fantasy but this seemed a little bit too twisted in the wrong way.
However the narator was very good at telling the story. I stopped by chapter 4.

Beginning is a mindwrap of words and repetition but with a short attention span, I can only imagine how much of doosey this would be to some. There were parts I missed while listening to this book but only towards the end of the book did everything come together. I may not go to the next book in this series.
