Wow, another stellar installment in the Costa family saga! This time, we dive into the story of Izzy (aka Bella) and Hudson, whose fiery chemistry and struggle against family expectations make for an electrifying read. After years of reading/listening Brittney’s stories, one would think I would feel like she was recycling old lines and ideas, but once again, she provided a story that feels destined, forbidden, and fresh. She created tension that you can practically feel. What I particularly love about this audiobook is its unpredictability—just when you think you know where Izzy and Hudson's story is headed, Brittney throws in twists that catch you completely off guard. And the narration by Conner Crais and Ava Lucas… off the charts amazing! It's clear why these two narrators are in such high demand. I will warn you before you start this audiobook: turning it off is hard. I stayed up past a reasonable hour because I could not press pause.
One suggestion: I found Brittney’s books/audiobooks in the middle of a series, so they can be read or listened to anywhere you pick them up. However, it will make much more sense if you start with Let Me Love You with Maria and Enzo at the beginning of the series.

Young, eager adventurers will love learning about surviving in the wilderness. This audiobook is tailored to keep kids engaged, with simple, clear instructions on outdoor skills like making a fire, finding water, and building a shelter. Stephen Bartholow’s lively narration adds to the excitement, making each survival tip easy to understand and fun to learn. As a mom and avid camper myself, I deeply appreciate the emphasis on safety and respecting nature in each lesson. It makes learning about survival in the outdoors fun and encourages younger kids to become responsible explorers.

I'm not exactly a K-pop fan, like at all, and I have been in search of a way to enjoy the music as I have a friend who is a cray, cray fan. Listening to this audiobook has surprisingly opened up a new avenue for me to connect with the genre. As I came to understand the nuances of K-pop, from lyrics and jokes to subtle references that fans adore, I started to understand the cultural connection and fun that is woven into the music. The narration is designed for beginners, breaking down Hangul, grammar, and pronunciation in a way that’s digestible and makes you want to listen. I particularly appreciated how the lessons are structured to make the music more enjoyable, even for someone like me who would never have listened to the genre without the insistence of a dear friend. And yes, she does share the love by listening to country music with me, so it is a fair tradeoff.

As a mom of a child with Asburgers, I understand the importance of being able to understand social cues and have authentic interactions with others. This audiobook is an excellent way to gain more insight into just that. The author dives deep into the nuances of body language, emotional intelligence, and effective communication, while the narrator delivers the information in a tone and pace that helps with absorbing the information. It also helps build a greater understanding of your own communication style and how we may come across to others. I hate trying to wrap up a review like this; it often feels cheesy, but I really do recommend this audiobook to anyone who wants to build a better understanding of nonverbal communication.

As a novice day hiker, taking on some of the trails in the national parks was scary, to say the least. But the adventure of exploring the diverse landscapes here at home was too great a pull to be ignored. I started hiking for the peace being in nature brings, so having this reference to take the stress out of hiking in places like Yosemite has been wonderful.

I found this audiobook while searching for resources for my adult daughter, who is learning to navigate life with adult ADHD. I appreciate the practical approach that provides strategies tailored for several stages of life, from early childhood to retirement. Trying to live life with the responsibilities and demands of adults is additionally challenging when trying to cope with ADHD, but this audiobook also outlined the opportunities that exist for those willing to look for them. With advice on managing daily tasks, harnessing ADHD traits as strengths, and maintaining positive relationships, this is a must-listen for anyone who is or loves someone with ADHD.
