Bloody fun story!

The kids are back to more gory bad life choices in Mark Tullius's Return to Grandma's house. My favorite character is Sam... Mark creates another scary romp to tickle your horror sensibilities! Definitely worth the time to work though both stories... nothing beats a good sequel,

This is the first Katie Berry book I tried. It's a real page turner! She makes characters that you care about and they are caught up in scary stuff! I don't want to spoil anything but some of the "lesser bad guys" actually happily make it to the end... excellent writing!

The alien books are among my favorites. Scary, suspenseful and often the Audible versions trigger nightmares for me. The sound effects are spot on. Anyone who likes the first Alien movie ought to explore the rest of the Alien universe in the books.

The AI narrator is terrible. Let's mispronounce air b&b in a story where it's mentioned alot.
The story is interesting. I will be honest though...for a normal size book or anything epic I prefer a person to read. Even if they don't try to do different voices for characters. If Mr Bates has more books read by a human I will be interested.

Poor Jake Jessup is the hero who has a ruff(bad pun) obstacle in this world created by Russ Tilton. Once again using plausible theory the bad guys create really scary weaponized animals. The story is thrilling and frightening...hard to put down. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I Also appreciate the solid narration by Sam Graham...
